So far, I've only had one issue with Icon Packager on Windows 10 w/ latest Insider build, which of this writing is: 170624-1334. That issue pertains to Window's default icon set not appearing correctly in the list of icons. The only 'icon' that shows in the preview is internet explorer. I would say that I'd be worried to use a custom icon set, due to the fear of not being able to revert back, however, I was already using a custom set when I came across this anomaly. So, I guess I'll jus

Wow, bummer you had to go through all that. I'm a dual-booter as well. In retrospect, I don't remember ever being 'asked' about indexing my files at all. However, I think it may be automatic if you attempt to access files from your second 'OS', whilst perusing the file structure in the first. I'll get a pop-up asking for permission to access the files and then it goes on

Yay! I'm a happy camper. First and foremost, the issue I had recently with the taskbar not skinning fully has gone away with the install of the beta and secondly, a plus that I was NOT expecting, but I'm ecstatic about it: My Start Menu is now skinned as well. I don't use Start 10, and it is now skinned as well. Huzzah!! - Thanks for that nice surprise! Up until now, I just

Quick Update: I cross-checked an updated Windowblinds 10 in my account downloads section and the forums for the Stardock store, and sure enough, this issue was known and an update has been released to address it. I'm on my way to give it a shot! I should have known they'd be on top of it! -Cheers!

I've been using Icon Packager in Windows 10 Preview for a few weeks successfully, and just installed Windowblinds 8.095 with compatibility settings as BFeely above. I'm going to go give it a shot! I tend to be willing to 'allow' for little glitches when using my customization software in a new OS; I'm usually just glad to be able to 'dress' up my PC at my choosing. &n

Reviving this old post because I still use the Impulse Dock even though it is not supported by Stardock anymore and in the event that others still use it and receive this error, it can be fixed by removing the config file and restarting the dock. The config file is located in C:/users/user-name/Local/Stardock-Corporation/folder/folder/.cfg <span style="font-fam

Remember My Colors? Stardock Corporation had four sets for each season. I just noticed I'm missing the icons for the 'Spring' theme set. I don't use My Colors, but install the Windowblind from time to time. I've been changing my theme daily since 2001 and still use many older ones! I have the summer and fall and winter icon sets, but I'm completely baffled how I could have gone this long without noticing that I'm missing the spring icon set. Does anyone have the 'Spring' icon set for the old Spr

This may be a bit too late to ask, but it dawned on me this morning as I was 'dressing' up my PC, like I do every morning, that I remembered the football team windowblinds from a ways back. School has kept me very very busy, so I unfortunately haven't been able to keep up with the transition from Impulse to (what's next), so I have no clue to how to find older stuff we may be eligible for and if we weren't, how to purchase them. Why now? Well, my Niners haven't been in a NFC championship game in

I have to agree with those that 'feel' the enthusiasm has fallen for the community and for the creation of skins as a whole. It is a bit sad, but I have not given up hope. I will definitely get Windows 8, but that's because I'm a geek and I love playing with operating systems. Do I hope it invigorates the skinning community? Hell yes! I have to rely on all the wonderful artists here

Hmm, it does seem that this post grew quiet. However, I also have the issue with classic skin appearing after reboot. However, it doesn't happen every time! Windows 7 64, I log on with user name and pass, and I must use Windowblinds to revert to 'Aero' in order to re-apply a Windowblinds skin when it does occur. This morning, the PC booted correctly, with skin installed. Its just a roll of the dice it seems. LOL

I can also report that Firefox is still not showing correctly using Windowblinds without having the menu bar showing. I'm using the beta version of Windowblinds 7. I have to pick a skin that 'looks' ok with the default Firefox theme (Koi looks nice). Other themes work fine, it is only the default theme or themes that that the default are based on, such as 'Strata'.

Thanks so much for the quick reply! Ya, I was kidding about posting pics... Ok, I'll just have to have some patience. (I got quite a bit of homework and housework to keep me busy in the meantime) [Ugh]

Update: It appears that it may be a server issue with skins13.windowblinds.com and also web.stardock.com. User icons are also not showing up in posts. When attempting to 'view' the pictures of the skins, that's the URL it is attempting to draw from. Being that it is Sunday, I may not get a resolution for a while. So, anyone got some pics of the newest blinds? LOL... I could just download them all and sort it out after.... I'd rather not though. Well, after finally getting the new PC up and ru

Hello all! I knew if someone would have the answer it would be here. Ok, this is the situation. In Windowblinds right next to the Windows Aero skin, is a skin called, 'Modified Aero Skin'. The author is me. My best guess is that, god knows when, I opened the default aero skin in studio per

WebGizmos, hear hear! It's freakin awesome to read an opinion of someone who thinks similarly to myself. I do tend to feel alone in my convictions much of the time. I once had a conversation very similar to the one you've written (about my thoughts on how procreating has been deemed to be an inalienable right, irregardless of the societies population or responsibility of the parents, mother, etc ) and the women I was speaking with actually freaked out and started freaking out and yelling abou

LOL, you guys are terrible! [e digicons]}:)[/e] If I was to be serious, I'd say Tokyo, because it is so big, populated, brightly lit and full of vibrancy. Or, of course, there is the inside of say, the US Mint perhaps? Or a bank vault?

Ok, so I'm not the only one that has sat waiting for a page to load, sometimes actually getting up to refill my coffee cup, knowing it MIGHT be loaded when I get back. I too, have been a wincustomize visitor for many years and have put up with it because I'm a customize freak and the skinners here are the absolute best! I do agree that the beta site loads much more smoothly, 'for me'. I do use No Script, with a Firefox knock-off (Flock) and the add-on doesn't ten
