Slow, Jerky, and No Characters! in Demigod Technical Support Demigod Forums

I just got a new computer and it's pretty good. I ended up getting Demigod for my birthday and installed it right away. I can start the game and change options and all that, but when I try to actually play in an arena, the arena is the only thing that loads. All I can see of the characters and people are the circles under them, and none of the buildings, flags, etc. show up either. It's also just kinda jerky and slow, but not too much. I don't think it's a problem with my computer because I j
