I guess the "just like the chicken in Dota" phrase caused that suggestion to look like another "please be like Dota" idea. That wasn't my intention, however. Regardless of whether the idea is from Dota or not, there are numerous times where I would so wish for the ability to have something do the shopping for me so that I can save the trip back to base. If the original idea is good, it stands on it's own feet. One reason I can imagine to not have this ability, is to enforce the penalt

I apologise if this has been suggested before. After playing mainly generals for some games, I think the idols system can do better. Right now, they're just a linear progression of each type (melee, ranged, healer) and each upper tier renders the previous one obsolete. I was thinking if there can be a lot more variety of idols, each offering a specific bonus, other than having only 3 idol types with linear progression of strength. With more idols, they can be s

Yeah, I think my comp was also struggling to keep up with the forced increase in sim speed. It was hectic fun though. I was on edge the entire game.

Hey silencer2000, it's alright! Thank you for staying as well. It was quite challenging playing on the fast speed setting indeed. Don't worry, we won't all suddenly decide to uninstall Demigod while your exams are underway, we'll just get better at the game while you're gone! [e digicons]XD[/e] Good luck for your exams!

In my experience, Australians and Singaporeans can play in each other's games fine, if that helps. You'll welcomed to join. Hell, I had a game with someone from Holland yesterday (and I'm from Singapore). The game was in slow mo but there wasn't any spike lag. We proceeded to have almost a full game; we surrendered after getting utterly creamed so as not to waste time. [e digicons]X|[/e]
Don't forget that Uproot does more damage when coupled with Compost I/II/III, up to 3000 damage to structures (compared to the base max of 2000) with Compost maxed out and kept charged up. Uproot can also do 100/tick (max of 1000 damage each) to nearby enemies and structurs near the structure being uprooted with Violent Siege. My friends and I are trying to keep up with the updates as we have multiplayer issues, but its confusing because when someone comments on Frogboy's post it changes the ordering of the thread - sometimes I end up reading the same post again, or am unsure which thread goes first (especially if there ar

(I've checked and I haven't gotten any private mails yet, I think ) Hmm .. I didn't realize I was playing against AI yesterday evening
It's quite a bit harder to set things up using the PM here. The game setup is usually spontaneous; I simply see who's online and ask them if they're avai

If we are looking to replace Uproot, perhaps it should be something closer to her back story. She's supposed to be a temptress, but none of her spells indicate that so far. Maybe a spell called "Irresistable Allure" which causes the target Demigod to have reduced attack speed and at the same time, drains mana from the target to herself. This would help mitigate her flaw of being mana heavy and would at the same time serve as a debuff. Also, it was suggested that her open form should d

I've had a friend in my friend's list told me similar. He's thanked me for a game last night (his first online game I think, as he was plagued with connectivity issues) which I didn't play. Now that you've mentioned this, it all makes sense. He must have played with AI replacements bearing my alias. Let's hope this gets fixed soon. I can only imagine the frustration the devs are facing through this entire episode; patching and repatching only to have new issues surface. I know I would
Also, people calling for a buff on Uproot need to remember a few things. Uproot is buffed by Compost. Uproot is fire-and-forget. You don't even have to take damage to use it. If you push a lane with one other person, you can shield the person while they attack, cast uproot, and start attacking the tower yourself. This is a TON of damage. One cast of Uproot should not take a tower down. It's a damage boost to help you out... not a solo-lone-wolf-

Actually, they're all people in my friend's list. Yes, they're all spiffy folks that appreciate a good game, regardless of win/lost. I simply add anyone with whom I can play lagless games with to my friend's list. They're a mix - most are Singaporeans, with one or two Japanese and Australians. Oh, and thinking about what we could have done better is very normal. I do that all the time after a game. I wonder about how I could have better spent my gold, should I have gone with another D

Oh don't worry about dying, we all do. It's more important that we've put in effort, worked as a team and tried out best. It was a close match. Too bad my lock on the enemy's portal didn't produce results. The Torchbearer (played by th15) resumed control by his AoE skills. I think we should have invested in the reinforcement upgrades earlier since we have a war score advantage. Better luck next time!
