Can't connect to multiplayer games in Demigod Problem Reports Demigod Forums

Before the latest patches I was able to (at least most often) connect to multiplayer custom games with no issues. I installed the latest patches tonight and attempted to connect to games, but I am no longer able to connect to anyone, and get stuck in the connection status of "Attempting to connect to...". As this is a multiplayer game this means that these latest patches have effectively broken the game for me.
