ive had this problem before. try not playing in full screen, this problem has occured to me in several games as i own ovr 100, and normaly that was the solution. this has also happend with sins to me and the solution was the same, for me. I remember this also occured to AoE 3 for me, solution was the same. - Bad Boy
beat all the tutorials. try a small map with an ally who is medium, and 1 easy enemy. if u dont win, well, then i guess this isn't your cup of tea.

@ Sp3ktr3 | You don't just colonize them silly! You have to explore every planet you come by untill you find it! Advent are good for this because they have a research that makes exploring cheaper :)

like as in Age of Empires 2? I remember yuo could view that civilizations technology tree without even having to launch the game, it was a good way to find out which one i'd want to play :) Good times...
Thanks a bunch :) I also found out that by playing in windowed mode that problem never appeared again! I just maximize the window so that its like playing full screen - hardly any difference :) Thanks :D
Did you look hard enough? Probably not :P What it does is that it gives you a few "free" units, at the expense of researching the tech 1st. check in the gravity well of the nodes for some pretty useless ships, its those. On the plus side, you can use this feature as many times as you want, as long as you let it recharge. Have fun!
I know loads of users have had the same prob, some when they try to start up the game, some while they are playing, or other when trying to load something in the game (ie. saved game). I've had the same problems. I'm willing to quit, I've got AoE. Hopefully they can fix this Mini Dump mess. Or is it a problem with my computer? Do I need a patch or reinstall SoaSE and Entrenchement? Is it the users fault if it crashes, or is it the designer's fault? Because I hope to get this fixed as soon as
