Same problem here. Strange thing is that it initially worked, but all of a sudden yesterday it started with the problems described in this thread. So for now I can not use DeskScapes, because I need the quick-hide feature from fences more. Finally something really strange: If I enable DeskScapes and the icons on my desktop should be hidden by fences' quick-hide (but are not) and then press (and optionally hold) the left mouse button, the icons disappear for the time the mouse

I tried playing the game with a friend of mine over the internet but it didn't work. I opened the ports on my router, hosted the game and he sees the game but he can't join it. Any ideas?
I bought it four months ago and now I am supposed to pay for the upgrade?! Thats really not very nice.
Mine has updated, but now it shows a strange error-ish message when starting and when clicking "Edit Fences": --------------------------- Fences --------------------------- As noted during download, this community preview beta of Fences was set to expire on November 1st 2009. Please visit http://labs.stardock.com/Fences to obtain the latest version. Thank you for participating in the Fences beta! <p
Same problem here (Vista x64). Switching to a 'normal' wallpaper and then back to a dream 'solves' the problem for me, though.
K-Lite Codec Pack 64bit solved my problem. [Edit:] Bought it. Now downloading. 40 minutes, 319kB downloaded oO. There is something really wrong with the download servers (I have a 25MBit line). [Edit2:] 846kB after 2 hours. If it goes on like this, the download will be finished in about 4 days. A 5GB game would take over a year to download (24/7) with this speed. Did I mention that I prefer Steam over Impulse?! But I guess Stardock will hardly publish their stu
After 5 (!) attempts it finally worked. Now I have the codec problem, because I have Vista Business x64. Well, at least kind of. - the box sample, the earth and the water work perfectly - the watercolor thing only shows a blue background without movement - the grassy field shows an error message that "The dream may contain an invalid video type or a compatible MPEG-2 video decoder may not be present." Is this one file indeed broken? Does it use a specia
Same problem here. Its not working. The demo just doesn't start at all. Also Impulse tells me that there is an update available, but when I click 'Update' it tells me: "Your registration for this product is not valid. Would you like to edit your registrations now?" Its times like this that remind me why I choose Steam over Impulse for games purchases...
