Okay, bit of an update, I did find my receipt for Entrenchment...in another email account. Not sure what I was thinking there, or if knew it would associate oddly. That one is my "normal financial transaction" email address, probably why I used it during purchase. Weird that it worked up until now. I entered it and it did validate the registration. Been about 2-3 weeks since I've been able to play, finally got online today and started the updates. Impulse needed to update, check. Both Sins and Entenchment need updates, did the vanilla first (check), now Entrenchment is complaining my registration is invalid. X1600 would be an upgrade...probably enough as a stopgap to upgrading more. I use an X850 XT which works fine, but it was at the top of it's generation. The X1600 was a midrange card. I probably won't get a newer card until I find something that doesn't work at all...I can still generally max out or put high settings on games. But i play at 1280x1024. For $35 it can't hurt.
