When you select a fleet there will be a list of the ships in the fleet across the bottom. You can select (select multiple ships with ctrl or shift) ships here you want to split from the fleet then just move anywhere and the ships will split. If you have a lot of ships you'll need to use the scroll wheel to see them all

Not exactly sure how food production works. My people are starving and I'm not sure how much food I need to produce to make them happy. I have a core world with 12 citizens, and 4 colonies attached with a total 15 citizens between them. So all totaled I have 27 citizens I have a input of 14 food, and output of 43 food yet they are all starving? How much food do 27 citizens need looking I thought it should be 27 food. It would be helpful if hover

I really like the idea of characters that have their own agendas, and backstories. Reminds me a lot of the characters in Shadow Empire (great 4x game btw) , where you have to make sure you keep them an eye on all your leaders and see to their needs before any revolt and start a rebellion. Great roleplaying potential. Thanks for the update can't wait to play GalCiv4. Auger
I’m sorry to hear you don’t like the 8-bit aesthetic. This was a specific design decision and I don’t believe we have any plans to change that, though the possibility of expanding into 16-bit or other aesthetics remains open down the line. Things like selection of characters will be expanded upon. As for the genres like being able to do Contra-like games that too will be expanded upon from this initial alph

The campaign is something I'm probably most looking forward too. ATM I'm mostly grinding skirmish missions for credits for crates. The arena battles are probably my favorite mode at this time. They're challenging, but the rewards are pretty meagre . You need to win 3 battles just to break even and 4 battles nets you 300 credits. I've only had a chance to do a few co op matches , they were fun. I'm guessing once the final game is released that thi
Quoting , quoting post but I've managed to get a few nice Artisan drops from the crates I bought at Drex's shop. Are you some kind of RNG God? [e digicons]o_O[/e]
Funny you mention that I opened a crat

Any specific suggestions for how we show the target for your servo? Is your servo selected when you envision this or is "always on"? For targeting info was thinking of when the servo was selected only. Maybe put it in the tab that pops up with player abilities? Do you use the pilot powers at all? Yes, been using them all although I don't get a chance to use Blinks much. I recently received a +1 pet part that help with Hauk so now I can

Been playing quite a few games since launch. I know this is alpha so a lot of the things I mention here will be fixed/adjusted or changed. Servos The Servos even at this stage is fun to play. I like the unique customization that you can do to each. By changing just a few parts you can switch from a melee dps build to a ranged dps, or if you want load up on shields/ extra hps and have a tank. In my game I loaded Hauk up with 500 hp legs and a 200

Yeah you might be double tapping the number keys which will center you on the control group Here's the hot Key list from manual Hot Keys ● 1, 2, 3: select Servos one, two, and three, respectively. ● Z: select all Servos. ● Shift+Z: select all Servos and Drones. ● B: Build Menu (for deploying buildings). ● D Select the Dropship. ● Arrow keys: scroll the map. ● Shift

Well The drones are weaker it's just they're so many of them. maybe too many. If they increased the time it takes to produce a drone a bit it might help. In the late game I'm just usually making a lot of the bullet drones and attacking their drones and use my servo's to generally battle theirs.
Quoting Gravedancer, reply 322 Puppets can kill your economy (is my theory). You don't have control over what they build. If they build buildings that require maintenance costs does that go into your total or does their city just net 0 gold? Far as I know their profit/loss does factor in to your treasury. You get the bonus of the buildings they build, so not getting the maintenance would be pretty odd.<

Just noticed I have the same thing happening in my game. What's weird is that they seemed to be linked every other turn. Approx half of them showed linked one turn then those ones one show no link next turn, while the ones that weren't linked now become linked. have the save game here. http://dl.dropbox.com/u/8974325/test11.EleSav

I'm about 50/50 . I like the strategic view of the cloth map to see everything especially after I get a few towns. I like to move on the 3d map and build just cause I like that view. I like the fact that on the cloth map you can see what cities have units stationed there by the shield icon. I guess it really comes down to preference.

There is a spell , "enchant farms". You cast in on your cities and their food production will increase. When your choosing sites for new towns look for food producing resources close by.

Yeah in my current game I have 8 cities and a gold production of 45 per turn. Course if someone really has a problem with it they could just mod some changes till they're happy. I think it does all boils down to patience. Some people want to expand and build things non stop, anything that slows them down is just in the way. RTS games spoiled them :) I'm old school, I like a game that makes me think. I'm not just churning out the same unit

Sure it probably needs some balance, but I also like it. It makes the gold mines and other resource areas very valuable terrain. Something worth dfending and fighting for. Actually pioneers now have to pay 200 Gildars to set up a town.

Yes, kudos to everyone at Stardock. This the most stable version I've played I'm in a game to turn 103 now and still going. Plus I've seen a little polish, I actually heard some footstep soounds when my peons were moving. heh Plus the AI seems to be going from brain dead to semi competent. I had a sovergin take over one of my towns and he was launching 1 footsoldier at at time toward me. Was hard to make it to the town since all these footsolde

I manged to kill Janusk by accident while, building my city. I never accepted him as my adviser, and he was standing right next to me as I built a improvement in my city and I moved into his square and cut him down. I think the game should check and if possible not move you into other NPC tiles. Maybe just place him into the city or something and have a message that says ,"XXXX has entered the city of XXX". <

Got the same Bug. It's reproducible sometimes only. I've include a game save file , and a video of the bug in action. You'll probably have to reload the save a few times till you get the bug to show up. Just move onto the Inn and you'll get a random quest. If it's the Escort quest then you'll either go straight to the quest, or get the, "not ready", message repeating between 2-6 times. Save Game: <a
