Question do you have both Ignore this application and do not skin it and Skin this app even if it uses Direct3D checked? The reason I asked is because I did that to see what would happen and sure enough it causes Photoshop to completely lockup to the point where it must be force closed via task manager. If you have both checked make sure to uncheck Ignore this application, and only have Skit this app even if it uses Direct3D. And a screenshot of everything runnin

Not sure if this is still going but I just fixed the problem by instead of telling to Ignore the application, telling it to "Skin this app even if it uses Direct3D (3D app for example) and everything is looking fine right now. Hopefully this helps ^.^
