I loved vista! I never had a problem with it the whole time I was using it. Vista was fast, stable, and easy to tweak. I was only using about 500Mb Ram out of my 4 gigs using vista 64-bit. However, I had to do a lot of work to get to that point. Vista, like any other operating system, has its advantages and disadvantages. I thought it was a great operating system....maybe just not very user-friendly. I guess I could say it forced me to learn more about computers, and I'm thankful for that.</p

Very cool idea. I think that you have the hazard pattern down perfectly. The shape is a little simple for my taste, but a lot of times, simple is better! [e digicons];)[/e] Good work. G3
I like the idea, I think the back and sides are def. too tall though as it stands.
I already submitted the skin this morning.......If a lot of people feel the same way I will update it. Also, keep in mind that my icons are smaller due to the reflective effect. Normal icons will appear larger than mine. I expect this will be in the objectdock gallery by tonight!! I'm planning on including 3 different styles when I eventually upload this project (unless I come up with another [e digicons];P[/e] . I will also include the PSD files so you can edit it if you want. This is the third style I will include:

Okay, next idea. I've added on some side-walls to the dock. I could possibly add a backdrop too. Does this look better than the original? Or is it better to keep it simple this time? Or I could always upload both at the same time....

Thanks for the feedback everyone!! Brian, I myself am confused about the lighting so I'm going to work on that. However I made the bottom of the dock a little more "stable." Is this better?

Honestly, I skin for both dock programs. They both have their advantages so it's really up to the user which one they choose. I'm not going to say one is better than the other. However, I've never had a problem with objectdock.....

I did not use a code for icon reflection. I make the reflections myself using photoshop CS4. However, automatic icon reflection would be a pretty cool feature for objectdock.

So I've put together a new dock skin and I would like to get some feedback before I submit it. This is most definitely not finalized yet. I suppose it's an Objectdock WIP. Anyway here's a screenshot, Let me know what you think. Suggestions appreciated. By the way, I'm willing to do some foreground on this dock if anyone has a good idea. Thanks! G3.

Now it seems today's downloads have been reset. When I click on the "skins" tab on the homepage it shows 0 downloads today. (and I think I should have at least 1....) Also, looking through the galleries, if you click downloads today, it shows mostly 0 and 1 downloads...... I'm guessing the number of downloads for today has been reset? Kinda weird stuff going on here lately..... [e digicons];P[/e]

Personally I would rather have the double click feature because: 1. Double clicking isn't that much of a hassle. 2. I have had fences all over my desktop and I wouldn't want them appearing because I accidently went near the edge of the screen. I'm not saying your idea is a bad idea. Its actually interesting to think about and I would like to try something like that. But I think there should be a CHOICE between auto hide and double click, or possibly both.

I would say you should disable the startup entry for fences on one of the accounts. 1. Logon to the account, hold windows key +R 2. Type msconfig , hit enter 3. go to startup, find fences and uncheck it. 4. Then reboot and it will be disabled. (I'm not 100% sure it will be disabled on both accounts or just one.) It may depend on who is administrator. ---Another option that may be a possibility-----go to your start menu and go to all programs, then
