The community will only grow when the game gets to a frustration free state. We have already lost a fair number of players that, irregardless of the merits of the game, just do not want to invest the time just trying to get into a game. God knows the number of times I just want to throw my hands up and go back to a game that just works, like World in Conflict. The game is such a gem, but it is plagued with technical difficulties.&n

Here's a portion of it. Full link at bottom. (Not a troll, just an update on news) "Taylor mentioned at the beginning of the demo that he wanted to explore story and characters more in Supreme Commander 2, but that he also wanted to continue to focus on technology just as much as before. He then showed us our first glimpse of the game, an overhead view of a map called "Illuminate 5." If y
I've been looking on the forums and couldn't find an answer. Do +crit items stack? Meaning, do the two low cost +1.5x and +2.0x crit items stack to increase the % to score any crit? Also, can they crit off one another? Thanks.
It seems that everyone believes Giants = Win. Not true. It is still reasonably possible to come back from the other team getting giants before you, BUT it depends on what DGs you have on your team. IE: TB or any other AoE DG. Farming giants grants huge amounts of experience and gold, easily enought to buy giants of your own, or if you can't, powerful items for yourself. I've come back fro

As for me, I'm banning all rage quitters when the ban list comes out. Then they will not be able to get into as many games hopefully changing their behavior. However, it is no fun staying in a game when you are going to lose, but it shows good sportsmanship and class sticking it out. Maybe a reward would be needed. Better option would be to have a public record of games played, won, lost, quit, and discon
Angels are pretty useless. Sure they hit for a bit and add some damg soak, but otherwise, they CAN NOT change the flow of the game, unlike Priests, Cats, and Giants. That in and of itself is a red flag.
+1 for the nerf.
I have been playing Pantheon almost exclusively and as it is right now, I only get 2v2s. The last time I got a 3v3 or 4v4 was more than a week ago. My guess is they set it up this way to: 1.) Eliminate the chance of getting a 6 person game with one person not being able to join. 2.) Speed the connection process up (which is has tremendously) 3.) Stop the use of AI bots in larger matches. I haven't had a match with an A
Erebus wasn't "broken", just a bit overpowered. This balances the game a bit more, and it's pretty balanced already. Now I hope they fix some items and favor items and a good chunk of them (favor ones mostly), are useless. By useless I mean no one uses them or buys them.
Quoting LittleOz, reply 5 You use armor or hp regen at all? I Wand of Speed with her. No I have found I don't need hp regen or armor with her to seriously wreck. But it does depend on the opponents. If Im playing a beefy team with Rooks/oaks etc, toward the end after I already have all my helms I will buy some armor. But if you play your cards well enough, generally all you really need is to make
Remember that you do not need teleport scrolls to teleport. There is a favor item, one of my favs, Amulet of Teleportation . If they are using that, then they really aren't using too much gold. 250 for a flag cap is nothing.
My personal opinion, for random public groups minions are total trash. I only think minions are any good if your going to bum rush enemy towers asap as a team, they become worthless to fast for longer games where artifacts start coming into play.
Ohhh good points. Didn't think about those.
Minion build: Yetis, that abilty that gives minions life and decreases cooldown, healing wind, and regular heal. The goal of this build is to buff minions with all items that add +minion life, +minion damg, and + minion dodge. Worked great. Most minions had 2k life by the time Sedna was lvl 12. Very easy to assault structures and defend lanes. The downside, boring at times. Also hard to get experience. S
What's even more irritating is when you use the wand that gives your the +25% speed boost : if I use this, 90% of the time it's in order to escape as fast as possible. If so, why the hell my DG should stop running, cast the wand, then I have to click somewhere again in order to make him run again ?
Such a good one. Man I HATE that. Happened to me all day today. What's ironic and aweful about it is this: Run anywher
Right. Her heals should be used like Oak's shield ability. To save a teammate from death, denying the enemy DGs gold. That being said, I can not see why a Sedna player would not heal an ally with very low life running to them with an enemy DG or two chasing aftet them. (unless she uses pounce to stun).
This is just an update, not rekindling the fire. Just tested my theory out again on a 3v3. I was Regulus on a team of 3, vs another team of three. Took me a little while to get the gold neccessary to buy ashkandor first, around lvl 11. After that i quickly leveled up to 15 to wipe the other team single handily after i bought mageslayer as well. At lvl 15, with just Ashkandor and Mageslayer, I was dealing 688 damg a second, <span s
The game was on Pantheon. You can't choose who your teammate will be. Yes, if you could your strats would most likely work, but this was an instance of a PANTHEON game with two TBs. *sigh*
Question. Does serpent blade work with Rain of Ice? I usually go ice build and thought it might be interesting to try.
Third, and this is where we need your help: The demo. We will be working with GPG on the demo but I was thinking of proposing that the demo for Demigod be multiplayer ONLY. Moreover, I would like the demo players to be able to play online with legitimate players. Here's where we need your help: What do you think would be a good way to limit this demo then in order to get people to still buy the game?
Oi. That's a tough one. I would only all
Please don't squabble about the math, sure it might be under or over stated, the point is that the dynamic that just one Regulus getting both those items has on the game. Try setting it up. Do a 3v3 with just one Regulus. Have the Light team feed items to Regulus to sell, and then have him get that combo of weapons. That team, in conquest, has a 100% chance to win. There is no stopping it. How can you stop
That said, I tend to agree that IAS + life steal gets insane late game, and needs to be toned down. In fact, I think we need more late game alternatives to IAS, life steal, and crit, which everyone seems to get given enough time. The problem with the citadel graveyard upgrade isn't that it sucks, but rather that if you die often enough for it to be useful that you will lose simply because of gold issues. For this upgrad
