I for one am glad to get rid of impulse. I have never been a fan of it anyway. never completely worked right. cant wait to see what stardock has in store for us. but would appreciate a few months credit on our accounts considering many of us cant download many of our updates. like we should be able to as paying customers.
I agree with all of you The first thing that drew me to the whole skinning idea many many years ago was DesktopX. It would be so sad to see them just stop updating it. Please Do some more updating.
Recently my desktop x widget stopped scrolling my ccscroll item when i am in the builder it works and when i am in the client it works but as soon as i load it as the widget it will show the first items then it wont scroll anymore. by the way its my weather widget and it is the ccscroll that runs the hi low, barometer, winds, etc. it just stops scrolling to the next item...when im in the widget state. any help would be greatly appreciated
I love that we can now use deskscapes as a wallpaper changer I would like to see one more feature added. In the rightclick menu on desktop we have configure deskscapes and pause deskscapes it would be nice now to have a feature added like advance to next deskscape or something like that so when we have one up if we want to go to the next one in our random background list without having to open and configure deskscapes we can do so. thanks for your hard work.
Im using newest beta version. however i think i figured it out it has something to do with the weather alert that came up last night for our area in michigan once that wenta away it worked fine again. so i just deleted the weather alert info out and seems to be working fine. thank you for replying will let you know if it happens again after i removed the weather alert off.
Today my weather widget i was working on suddenly started to crash. its been working fine and i have been able to work with it in dx builder however around this afternoon it started crashing. now everytime i try to load it in builder or regular it crashes here is error report. if anyone has any ideas as to why i would appreciate help.. thanks Problem Event Name: APPCRASH Application Name: DesktopX Builder.exe
Its working. I seem to remember it reducing the desktop wallpaper to be only to the edge you tell the screen size to be in DX however it only reduces how much of the screen your open programs use. thanks for all your input. much appreciated
Hello in desktopX I chose to reduce my work area from the right however it does not work like it used to any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks

I was wondering if its just me or have there not been any updates in impulse for any programs since june 29 2010 it seems odd to me there is at least one a month or so has anyone else noticed this?

my import screen in destopx builder is not showing my widgets correctly it shows ones i dont have in my widget folder and not showing ones that i do have any info would be helpful thanks wendi
It was the feature in windowblinds under fonts tab I never checked that but somehow it was checked to not show shadows etc. thanks so much for your help

I have tried to get the shadow or outline feature to show on wb in my clock area it shows on the preview skin etc. but when i apply the skin it will not show up any suggestions. thank you wendi
I created a dream and when i choose it to play the sound is choppy. but when i play it in windows movie maker it plays fine. Any suggestions?

I have win vista home premium after downloading dx 4 try to run widget get error odzip.dll not found and also when in dx builder when i click on import and box opens no longer tabs for widgets & objects if that was intentional i dont like it I like having mine seperated. anyone else notice this. I was wondering if anyone knows how to make the new windowblinds theme or skin folder to be on a different drive. I always kept my themes on a different drive so they would not get lost in the event of a system crash. now i cannot find that option in new wb 7. thanks for any help wendi
Dont know why but for some reason it finally started working I changed it to l-s-10500 for the header and l-s-5950 for the trailer and it started working thanks for your input
