Think I'll type it once & recurse it X500. Island Dog, want my assignment in 1 e-mail or 500? [e digicons][/e]

Island Dog it's OK now, I just fixed it. My CCleaner version must have corrupted somehow...updating to the latest version sorted it out. Sorry I troubled you [e digicons]
Hi Island Dog, Yup tried that already but still got the problem.
Hi, I can still login, download and post, no problem, but for the last few days I can't rate skins. I'm getting "sorry, but only apprentices and WC subscribers can rate a skin" offering a "subscribe now" link. I subscribed last November. No idea if the site being down for maintenace last Wednesday(?) has anything to do with it...anyone else getting this glitch?
That does it. Think I'll stick with Winstep and mothball DX till SD gets its act together. Something tells me JcRabbit's way ahead on this one.
Ehhh.. I only just found where that karma thingie was yesterday [e digicons]:annoyed:[/e] & it worked fine then. I use firefox.

Oops - "Impulse keeps repeating the same incorrect installation message" should read "after updating WB6, Impulse then says"WB6 i s (now) installed correctly". Yet WB6 still won't upload skins from disc. ... sorry about that. Thanks, az0th
Hi, This problem started when I first updated to WB6: It won’t upload skins from either All Users\Shared Folders\Stardock\Windowblinds or the user-created folder Program Files\Stardock\Object Desktop\Windowblinds\Windowblinds Skins The only way I can get skins to show up in WB6 Config. is by first applying them (double-clicking on the .bload). Also when I change skins, the previously installed skin disappears from v
Most excellent work, as always!!! :CONGRAT: :CONGRAT: :CONGRAT:

It's looks like a pretty handy car where I live & neatly slots into parking gaps sideways, never mind parking spaces. I drive a clapped-out BMW and dread encounters with SUVs and fewking scooters driven by schoolkids.
hmm.. I also get the same conflict between fences and Dreams. Can't get a Dream to work without first uninstalling fences.
A good place to start might be Google images.
Addicted to WC.. even if a curried cabbage WB breezes in [e digicons]:ninja:[/e]
I would sure like to know from you if you have any of my dreams and if they are fast, plz let me know.
amitsaran - your Dreams are tranquility incarnate. Chicken soup for my soul anyway,to borrow a phrase. [e digicons]:sun:[/e]
Thanks CarGuy1, I'll try your suggestion. No problem wih your submissions, they're typically tranquil and soothing, but understandably it's hard to satisfy people with different tastes. What puzzles me about other Dreams is that given the short loop time allotted, why race to go nowhere like annoying animations I use stuff like Firefox's Adblock plugin to squelch? Vizualizations & screensavers aren't constrained by time and have way more leeway than Dreams, so yeah..
Sorry C-Guy1. I shoulda noticed the MS stuff before I posted. The idea was to edit out typos first. [e digicons][/e]
When that happens to me in XP, I first apply a default desktop then either double-click on the .dream file I wanna use, or use 'Dream Tasks' or 'Dream Manager' or right-click on desktop>dreamscapes>apply>ok. One of these usually gets it going for me.
I guess it’s a question of taste, kinda like preferring soft jazz to death metal music & personally, I’m more into dreams than nightmares. Is there a way to slow down the more hyperactive dreams to calmer, more meditative paces? I download loads of dreams, but end up using e.g. soothing ones like ‘parasite’, ‘red vines’. ‘silence’, & other non-frantic ones. I usually e
hmm.. I updated Impulse & 'Ankh' was available under 'My downloads', no problem.

I tried DRJHBL's way, but no go.. weather docklet on this PC still saying still N/A though Accuweather's feed works fine on DX weather widgets. No weather prob. on my other PC's Objectdock & both PC's use identical setups... wierd.
umm.. WB 6.4 (on my XP PC anyway) limits the # of skins it displays - max 21 . The previous version accomodated more skins, & I can't seem to find an option on 6.4 to override the skin display limitation, so I resort to SKS to preview downloaded skins - mine are way beyond 21. Any suggestion for a workaround would be much appreciated, thanks! [e digicons]:)[/e]
for anyone else with this prob., Rahndal has a neat widget to replace desktophelper.exe with one including an 'unload DX' option: Check out https://www.wincustomize.com/skins.aspx?skinid=671&libid=34 (sorry, havent' yet looked into out how to substitute 'link' for lengthy urls [e digicons]:annoyed:[/e] ..
