I get almost the same issue as Mr Newman. Except my error instead of saying DesktopX.exe has stopped working says DXWidget.exe has stopped working. I have tried to load both widgets and objects and I get the same error message every time. When I restart and DX loads up it say that DX was unexpectadely closed or something similar and that it could have been do to a bad or corrupt widget. I just have the DesktopX Runtime, not the full version and I'm running Vista Home Premium 32-bit SP1. I have r
