Well my friend just told me he had an extra gig of ram he isn't using that I could put in my computer, if I do this, it is likely it'll work, correct?

Also, I just tried installing it on my gfs computer, which HAS 512, and it gave the same message.

Hi... I bought this game knowing full well that it requires 512RAM, while my computer (for some weird reason) came with 448mb of RAM.
