and have been for more than a few days, then you should either buy it or accept that you’re a thief and quit rationalizing it any other way. I file-share games regularly, however I have bought all my Stardock games just because of (whatt I thought was) your stance on Piracy. Now you made me wish I hadn't... So tell me exactly, since Piracy doesn't result in any lost sales, since piracy actually may have a net positive effect on your s
'Are you serious or are you just pulling our legs?' Serious. They deal more damage, cost less to purchase, use less mana to summon, cast faster and have a shorter cooldown. My goal was simple- better minions, the ability to have money to purchase items and less time getting your army setup.
I see you went in the complete opposite direction of my suggestion . :(
Vassal states: Have an opponent that is being severely pounded on by you or another player surrender and become a permanent ally. This would really save up a bit on those cleaning up points, where you've totally annihilated their fleets and now have to go through the arduous task of wiping their planets and taking them over to get rid of them. I also liked the ideas some put forward for specialized missions (destroy specific facilities, wipe a particular planet etc) and espionage. All
A suggested change for Queen of Thorns (which I've been playing primarily recently), I would like the later levels of Bramble shield to get some increased HP. As it is, in the lower levels the bramble shield is just right to protect against similar level DGs but in later levels it really does not do anything. It is gone in practically 2 hits from most assasins. If there's a concern that it may make other DGs in QoT's team very difficult to kill on later levels, perhaps simply doubling
Hmm, you're right. I'd never considered this use of the Orb. Under this light it does become more useful and tactical.
The Nature's Reckoning in my opinion is quite good... I don't know how many times i've seen it chain proc during a fight when I'm TB.
Fair enough, I haven't actually playtested the item. I think more games should be payed with it to test and especially experienced players should give it a go and see how well it works against other experienced players
It's also aoe, so anyone nearby gets this shock, effectively destroying most creep waves in seconds later
I agree with Jeffwads. Report the problem without the drama please. Exactly because this is a beta you shouldn't be acting like this
Don't know how relevant this is, but I just opened a new topic about items .
Just thought I'd make a post about these since they don't seem to become any better. Glovesinv Gaunlets of Despair These things give way to little for their costs. 350 mana and a low chance to get a very small amount of mana does not really deserve the 1750 gold, especially since the Wyrmskins are cheaper and much more useful. I suggest that they either have a higher chance to drain mana (40%, so
Changing a DG should not be a big issue to force people to become unready but I agree that perhaps a 5 seconds delay before the game can start might be good.
Same problem occasionaly with QoT's Bramble Shield. Moving does help in my case however
Just tried to play a pantheon game to check the balance of the abilities and it seems that the AI controlled DGs are just not there. I was in the crucible, both sides AI DGs managed to get to the main crossroads and then got stuck on their respective towers and wouldn't move except to attack anything that came close.. In previous builds they would at least play (albeit stupidly) but now they are not even doing that much.
OOps, sorry, I meant to post this thread in the beta forum http://forums.demigodthegame.com/342271 @Admins: If you can, please move here and delete this thread
In my previous post I was talking about how the minions in the current build are next to useless and I made the suggestion that perhaps they can be improved with some passive or auto-cast abilities. I'd like to expand on this concept a little bit more as I think that this idea has merit and others seem to like it. The idea to give minions abilities is not simply something that will make them more useful but also something that will greatly increase the variety an
I think the problem with minions is not simply that they do not have enough HP but that they don't do a good job of protecting the general. They can simply be bypassed by an assasin and get the general who of course is much weaker since he has far less items as all his gold went to the (very expensive) minions
It's a pity that karma doesn't vote cause you deserve it :)
Just tried to play a multiplayer game with a support QoT, that is mostly with Brabmle Shield (for using on myself and allies) and focusing on minions for damage instead of myself. The idea is to have a general be...well, a general. Mainly fight from the back and help support her army and allies. At the start of the game, it was a bit ok as nobody was yet very powerful. Using brable thorns on myself and allies allowed a competitive edge (although not big enough to kill warlords). <
Seth, I don't know if you're some kind of uber player who can win a strategy game through "button mashing" but that has not been the case for me. I'm far from inexperienced in strategies and on multiplayer games with anything other than newbs, it's difficult to win. Are you perchance playing Pantheon only?
I like the idea of not being able to cast spells after a warpstone and I want to add my voice that at the moment CC does seem way too powerful. I'm getting killed most of the time before I even have time to blink with such combos. Certainly a good coordination of a team should allow for ganking and quickly taking down someone but the unfortunate victim should have _some_ chance to at least run away once he smells it coming. As it is, with warpstone, as soon as you start fighting one DG, the o

Just tried playing my first 1920x1080 on a 42'' HDTV and it seriously rocked. It's a pleasure to play from your couch :) It's also good that the text in the game is large enough to read from ~3 meters away as other games I tried with this resolution were almost impossible to play because of that. You can't really play another game on the second monitor along with DG as it's quite fast paced.
That sure is a deadly combination, maybe reduce the chance to stun, or set the price to 18k. A typical caster agains this build can only cast something if he gets lucky, really lucky. And you dont even have to use UB, any other Demigod works as long as you get some Attack Speed too.
That is true, however the UB get the added benefit of a passive skill that increases attack speed and normal speed, the later of which is very useful for
Look, there's no point in simply discussing this here. Play it against humans and see how well it works or not for yourselves. That's what betas are for
Lets not forget the artifact shop is controlled by a tactical flag. So if you get owned (feed them gold) + don't own the artifact shop it's your own fault and deserve to lose.
You don't have to control the Artifact Shop for anything more than a few seconds to buy the Mage Slayer. Unless your counter is to never let the other side control that flag for the whole game, I don't see how that changes much in the combo.
