Culture spread is reduced when going through planets. TEC has a tech that allows that reduction to be less. Advent just have lots of culture increases and a superweapon which flings a big blob o' culture at a planet. Vasari have SFA one culture structure every few systems is fine for the back lines. Aright, time to bring a few things back to the past so we can understand the arguments against the future. 1)people did not believe the 'horseless' carriage' (car) would ever make it to common use. 2)people did not believe the airplane would ever make it to common use. 3)people did not believe that the aircraft carrier would be considered a replacement for the battleship (which it currently pretty much is) 4)IT WAS BELIEVED THAT STEALTH TECHNOLOGY ON AIRPLANES

Superweapons give you an edge. In a slower game, it is a large edge. In a faster game, not so much. That said... Deliverence engine:15% extra firepower wherever you fire them at.
