Picking up Dota to give it a "shot" isn't really doing the game justice. It will take months just to learn all of the heros and item combinations in the game. Ya we left after the exile game because someone asked me and my friends to not play with each other. We thought that was going a little bit too far considering a large draw to this game is playing with your friends. Hey Darkshine. I just wanted to apologize for leaving vent abruptly over the weekend. We had some pretty good games but tbh me and my friends got tired of one of the guys on vent that night. I think that comparing the 2 (Demigod and DOTA) at this stage isn't a very fair. Not only has Dota had years of development time but tbh its a different game from Demigod in most aspects but the basics. I think Demo players playing with real people who bought the game is a good idea, but in order to keep the game competitive you can't give the people who bought the retail too much of an advantage from the demo people. I have been trying to download the patch all day. After I click on the "Show pre-release" versions on the impulse icon it gives me the "Update Available" under mygames. But when I start the download it always gives me this error. Error: Non-negative number required. Parameter Name; Value Am I doing something wrong or is there some magic trick to get the beta dl?
