Hi Neil & Sean, I have waited a month for a response to this question - PLEASE POST ONE. Hi Neil, I appreciated your clue to my issue (#s 44-46, above). However, it would really help to know where the "glassy explorer backgrounds" can be enabled/disabled. Until I can try to resolve the disappearing file/folder name issue (while trying to edit either), the vast majority of skins are useless. This was never an issue before I installed WB Beta 10.8.9.0, then had to uninstall, purge it and reinstall WB 10.87. Please let me know where the "glass
Have you enabled glassy explorer backgrounds as that could explain the problem. There have been no changes in WB to impact Deskscapes or win7 so things should work as they did before. What do you mean by font resizing not working?
I no longer can find the setting for "glassy explorer backgrounds". The WB Beta 10.8.9.0 does impact DS, and even after unins

Apparently, WB Beta 10.8.9.0 is not supported for WIN 7 Pro (See DS Beta thread #3). I installed it over WB 10.87, with many resulting problems. With WIN 7 Pro, it kills the functionality of DS 10.02 / 10.03. It first prevents images from being applied, then it will not allow DS to stay open. I tried to update DS, only to find that it is incompatible with Win 7 Pro. I uninstalled, then "purged" (most recent purge versions on site) both WB Beta 10.8.9.0 and
Quoting Raymond_SF, reply 3 Does StarDock plan on releasing a version of DS for Win 7, or is 10.03 the last compatible version? I am afraid that DS11 will only be for Windows 10 and there are no immediate plans to update DS10 any futher.

DeskScapes 11 Beta 3 Can not be installed on a Win 7 Pro PC. I will be upgrading to a Win 10 Pro system, when I can afford to spend over $2K for a new machine and replace all of my software. Does StarDock plan on releasing a version of DS for Win 7, or is 10.03 the last compatible version? Also, I will be entering comments on the WindowBlinds Beta thread regarding Beta WB's problems with DS 10.02/.03.

No Sean, It is only "off target" because the issues still remain. I will look in to it after tomorrow, as I am in charge of a precinct polling place (for the 6th time) serving the California Primary Voters. As i have said, repeatedly, the issues with the current WB 10.84, ARE THINGS THAT I CAN DEAL WITH . Your above response, does not even address the issue of of well over 250 registry entries for

Basj, I appreciate your effort on these issues. However,
Cleanboot is not overkilled steps. Hi, I neglected to be clear about my current version of WindowBlinds (WindowBlinds 10.84 (059 - Windows 7 Edition). (Sorry that I can not get "quotes" to function properly, in my responses - They continue into non-quoted text. But as I said in Reply #2: <span style="font-size: sma

Hi, As I have previously said DS8 (any or incremental 8.xx.xx version) is not currently installed on my PC , although the "Programs & Features" still lists it, in addition to 10.02. This has been an issue for multiple versions for DS 10+ (regardless of upgrades or multiple purges/reboots/reinstalls/reboots). <span sty

Sorry, about the typo's in my above reply, as well as a mistaken font size. (Though now I have now changed the font size and spacing issues.) Also, one additional detail about WB 10.8.4; the last reinstall does not have any of the FireFox adjustments that are shown in https://forums.stardock.com/497596/page/1/#3764739 <span

I have tried multiple permutations of the Purges/Re installs of both products - Even resorting to running DS10Purge and going back to DS 8.51 (which now has the same issues that multiple users have already asked in the separate Forums for each). If anyone can direct me to a link that addresses the issue of Purging and Reinstalling BOTH WB & DS , I would greatly appreciate it! When I know the correct order for both, and can get both functioning again, I wil

I had thought that my beta installation was missing some of the ODT programs too. But, just as I was identifying the missing ones on my system (and writing my post to the Forums) - I went back to ODT Manager, while my browser was logged in to "my downloads". When I clicked on the "Settings" icon in the upper right, there was an option to look at "my downloads" (once it is current that choice is invisible). It requested that I log in. I did and the missing prog

Howdy, I've been using DS for quite a few years. I love version 10.80.0 ! However, there has always been an idea that I've had while using it. Would it be possible to add a means of moving the "Folders" within the current "Manage folders" up or down in the list. As it is, the user must delete all folders below where they would like a different one to be, and then re-selecting the remaining folders, in the order

Sorry, Neil - I forgot to mention that no, I do not have Fences installed. It does happen on my Win 7, 64-bit laptop, with only DS 8.51 & WB 8.13 (having problems w/10) installed & running. Again, hope that helps.
