After several games, the Krynn have evened out. The Iconians, Drengin, and Altarians were the top in my last 3 games. Krynn were below me before Star Destroyers in my latest one, so not even 4th place. Krynn are still good, as they contend for top spot, but they are no longer OP. YOR seem a little UP, though, as they are always dead last.

Not a bug, I think. It gives +10 to your homeworld and the first colony. +10 while at 0% is also not bugged, since flat bonuses aren't affected by the slider (it only affects output from population).
You misunderstood something. 150 is a lot of research in the early game.
There was actually a second screen in beta, which showed you your invasion's progress in real time. It was similar to a text-only version of the combat viewer. There were going to be graphics and such, but they weren't done in time, so the feature got cut from 1.0, and now the "Begin" button just does what "Auto Resolve" used to. They'll probably finish it and bring it back in an xpack, since the framework is there.
Large UI is actually for Multi-screen setups, though it would work on 4k.
The Krynn do appear to be the strongest AI, but their aggression is their downfall. They spread themselves too thin. The Terrans were actually neck and neck with them in my last Gifted game on a Gigantic Galaxy. The Terrans in this game had decided to conquer the galaxy too, and were actually beating back the Krynn (and everyone else). Then I showed up with fleets of Star Destroyers and wiped the Krynn out, forcing them to surrender to me.
Gotta echo the sentiment, you guys really pulled this off. I feel sorry for doubting you! The game is great. More importantly, it's ready. Pat yourselves on the back, because you guys got a mountain of sh*t done in these last few weeks.
The pleasure park is basically a casino. It doesn't give approval on its own, but it gives +6 raw income, which is really good, and +3 approval adjacency, which is VERY good, but it doesn't give income adjacency, making it balanced. I don't even care if it giving income and not approval is a bug, it should stay. I argue that the durantium refinery should be buffed to +3 instead of +1. Pleasure park is fine. Thulium archive and Antimatter plant are useless, especially consi
Title. I'm not even sure what Culling would do, but it feels like Motivation V (Malevolent tenet) is incomplete without it.

Anyway, once again a case of skill or lack thereof, without being offensive. Reg can kill demigods without help and he can steal kills from dusk to dawn with snipes to boot. Heck, even his mines are great tools of destruction. Mines. Well in the prior match I managed 32 kills and 0 deaths against 2 humans and 1 AI so whi

Between stuns, damage over time, and the speed, you cant stop them without great coordination. Looking back I would say the best strategy for this would to be kill spam their UB. But the problem is, even the AI UB's play right! They run away the moment they are at a disadvantage, where our
It's not impossible to get a UB to stop chasing you. Sometimes you can even use this chase mentality to your advantage. If you're having a problem killing one, you're not fighting one properly. I dominate UBs ten times more often than they dominate me. In fact, only one UB I've ever faced really sticks out in my mind and his team still lost the game.

Maybe fireball needs a longer range or a shorter cast time. maybe Spit should have its mana cost increased a little or its damage decreased a little. i'm not willing to make a judgment about it yet. for the moment i say it should be
[quote quoting="post"] I may be wrong here...have only played Torchbearer once...but does he not have to max out the Fireball line to get a 1050, slowish casting fireball? Unclean Beast to me (I have played him in all but 1 custom game this weekend...and that was the only game my team lost) seems grossly overpowered compared to a DG whose sole purpose seems to be damage. At rank 3 of Venomous Spit, I am doing..what, 1050 or 1500 damage? I'm already matching or outdamaging the TB wh

I like the DOTA style of gameplay I never tried this type of gameplay before. But I do want stardock to fix the multiplayer just in case i decide to play online for some reason in the future. What keeps you coming back? 2. Judging from the responses so far, can I take it that the demigod community isn't like the CS/DOTA "lulz newb" community? Or is it just that the game hasn't been around long enough for the pros to differentiate them
[quote quoting="post"] It's a pretty innovative puzzle, with subtle rules that explore the psychology of its participants and has a basis on internet technology. There's a fine line between giving up on a futile cause and having patience and perserverance in winning. What winning strategies can you suggest? [quote who="PossiblyImpossible" reply="2" id="2151961"]The problem is that I couldn't recommend for anybody to buy this game as it currently stands. Even at $10 less than most other PC games, it's still not worth the price. Most of the reviews are telling people to wait a few months until things are worked out a bit more, and I can't disagree with that sentiment. It's unfortunate, because I like this game and I want to see it succeed, but the truth is it needs more time
