Another good way to test things/learn about LiteSTEP is to, of course, run it on top of explorer too, instead of running it as a shell. The problem then, at least in my case, is the niftier modules (such as desktop or desktop2 or whichever one it's using now,) don't like to work. (At least they never did with me ^_^) <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/sb.gif" border=0 ALIGN="absmiddle"

*blinks* Type in a long, rambling sort of post - and then reread it and realize it makes utterly no sense whatsoever. *sighs* I need coffee. In the end - skin colour, to me, is no different from the colour of a persons' eyes, or hair, or even their handedness anyway. We're all humans above all else, after all. ^.^ <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/sb.gif" border=0 ALIGN="absmi

Actually Paxx, while I'm not trying to sound like I'm tooting my own horn - but chances are I would have mentioned the shirt colour before even thinking of the colour of his skin. Why? Despite decades of society and my peers trying to force upon me the differences in peoples' skin colours - my father (from a very early age,) made a very active effort to make sure that I never saw skin colour as just that - the colour of a persons' skin, and as people go, ultimately inconsequential. Geez, this should be added to a FAQ somewhere, or something - since this seems to get asked a -lot- lately! The fine program is called Rainlender - and it would seem that many of us (myself included,) swear by it. ^_^

Yup - to me, SuSE is /the/ Linux. Beats any offerings made by Mandrake or Red Hat by a landslide (Plus the professional version also comes on a nice, handy DVD as well - talk about a fast installation!) As for Gnome or KDE? KDE 3 - hands no, no comparison. Ever since it came out, I won't even consider Gnome any more. ^_^ Give me KDE and bash and I'm a happy user. <img src="http://images.stardock.

There are numerous programs out there that do this already yeah. Personally, I use the inspiredly (New word?) named 'Console' on my system. Combined with Cygwin/bash I'm a very happy shell user. ^_^

I've got SuSE 8.0 sitting here on my notebook - and in fact, I've got it installed on my desktop too. I love it. SuSE is great - which is something you'll never hear me say about Linux (being a BSD fan, m'self,) and yet... I can't really remember the last time I've booted into it.

Now see - I have to disagree with you there, WOM. With the skinning community being an exception, the number of female artists I know by /far/ out number the number of male artists - in all fields: music, multimedia, traditional media, painting, writing, etc. Come to think of it, with the exception of myself (I /suppose/ I'm technically an artist - just a piss-poor one! ^_^) I only know 5 male artists - 2 of them being cartoonists (not belittling cartoonists any,) and 2 of them musicia
