Thanks for the help. I tried Stinky codec, no help. They ask me to post my entire Windows Log, which I'm not really keen to do. I can manually read the log file for them and find an event which is related to this issue myself and send them. However, DWM ( Desktop Window Manager ) is running just fine. Hi everyone. I just bought DeskScapes. Sitting on Vista x64 Business SP1, fully patched and all. Aero enabled. I got all the codecs as well. I even tried K-Lite x64 and rebooted. Still it nags that I don't have mpeg-2 codec! Now, the dreams which won't work, I can see their thumbnails ( which I didn't before installation of the codec ) so I think something is wrong here. I can watch mpeg-2 movies just fine. What can I do to solve this issue? This isn't too fun because not only I bought
