Skinning adjustments won't display in Skinning WinCustomize Forums

Finally got my sliced start menu up, not how I want it to look. The top bar is way to big and the program lists (left and right) are to small. Now neither of them will change size. The top bar will let me adjust it in SKS but using it with WB only shows it how I don't want it, I've even tried making it a new skin. Next, both program list with not let me make them any bigger (taller), now that won't even show the tweeks in SKS. Last, tring to make new buttons ontop of the startmenu ex. the pro

Slicing my startmenu in Skinning WinCustomize Forums

I finally finished my startmenu after 3months of working on it (my first time). I am using SKS Pro to do so, I am using the template that is on the offical SKS tut. website, and it shows only Five slices. But in SKS when Im adding my slices it will only allow me to make the slices only so big. It also has more parts. It looks like Im editing an Xp start menu. Is there a different Skin Studio I should be using? Or does anyone have a different temp that I should be using to do my slic

Problem adding graphics w/ SKS pro in Skinning WinCustomize Forums

When building my startmenu in skin studio 6 pro, using photoshop cs3 all my graphics have the large white square that was the canvas in ps. I have the background in photoshop transparent. I also have the transparent box checked in sks. Can someone tell what im missing? thanks

I have been working along time on my start menu now that I have it semidone, I figured that I would try putting it into SkinStudio. Well, I don't know which way I shoudl do it (Ive already sliced it up) but I don't know If I have to use the animation builder or just with putting the slices in place. Honestly I can't figure out what the Ani Builder is used for. Ive looked at alot of the tutorials, but nothing Ive found goes indepth enought. Any help..please &nbs

Startmenu Skinning? in Skinning WinCustomize Forums

Im having a problem with the glow on the startbutton, its the first thing Ive reallt put time into making so i want it to look GOOD. Anyway, if I just have the glow on the top of the button I can do it, but if I have both top and bottom glow I cant get it took work. I put the button thats fine, then onto the glow. When I add it, it covers the button with just a white square with my glow ontop of it. Ive tried making my background transparent but it wont change. Ive adjusted the ex

Thank you very much I was thinking thats what it was when i was looking thought the programs but they refer to the site and so many dif. things ex. stardock, wincus, objectdes... and so on. I just wanted to make sure because the stuff on wincustomize is so cool i cant wait!! All you people are really creative. Looks very good. If you do hear anything diff about the subscriptions please let me know on here, it will be a few days before i can purchase.

When you purchase object desktop standard or the plus verison do you get a year of downloads from wincustomize also? I saw that it says you get unlimited downloads for objectdesktop.net but im not sure if that is the same thing. I about to start buying the programs but I don't want to spend all my money (im broke) on the programs then not be able to download premade skins and all the other cool stuff. &n

I am thinking subscribing but i was woundering if I also have to purchase all the programs that you use to add the themes. I have tuneup utl. that lets me change boot screens, icons and add themes. Is that good enough, it does other stuff to im sure you guy have heard or used it.
