I'm experiencing the same issue here. I don't think the problem described in this thread has been solved (workaround =/= solutions), I'm choosing to bump the thread rather than make a new one that's basically identical.
Can you just tell us right now exactly what is your issue with your new computer ?
As of June 24th, there were no issues.
I am able to assign different wallpapers to each monitor on my current (new) computer with no real issue now. Hi again. It's been a relatively hectic month. Sorry for the delay on my end. I've gotten a new computer with all new parts and Windows 10, and I've also swapped my old 720p monitor for a 1080p Lenovo ThinkVision LT2223z monitor. The old computer is now stuck with only that old 720p monitor. I am able to assign different wallp
I wanted to get it running in Windows 10, too. Thanks for the thread. It appears to run fine so far.
I'm glad I posted this stuff the other day. I got an error message from Groupy saying that I didn't have Desktop Windows Manager running (after restarting from a BSOD after running the "shutdown" command last night), and my attempts at doing this by manually applying a theme and poking around the windows theme settings screwed up how my computer is displaying stuff. At least I have a decent reference to rebuild to. Side note: When do you consider a computer worth replaci
Window Blinds style is Modern by danioc & Stardock Icons are Plastic Fantastic by Tiggz DeskScapes is giving me trouble, so I uninstalled it.
Thanks for the re-entry into the support system. Here's hoping I just got lost in the shuffle last time. I'll make sure to visit this forum again soon enough. I have email alerts on, and it's bookmarked in a "follow-up" folder.
Did you get everything sorted out, Jaguar1973?
...Hello? The problem hasn't been fixed yet. I just uninstalled the program since having it installed was screwing up my computer, and the attempts to fix it weren't working, and weren't coming. I've been waiting since April 17th for the support team to come by. Unless that post from the 24th was from the support team, but they were responding to something they misunderstood. (No offense.) For the time being, I've got a wallpaper that's just some vertical lines. It at least do
On a whim, I tried doing the safeboot. Logged into main account Got the same problems as usual. On starting up the Deskscapes program with the context menu, I was asked to turn on the Aero theme in order to start the Windows Desktop Manager to get DS to be able to do it's thing. I clicked Okay The problem persists. I also noticed earlier that the new user account runs noticeably faster than my main account.
Steps taken: Reinstalled Deskscapes Created new Admin account Restarted Loaded in to new account Deskscapes only loads background on both monitors. "Apply to monitor 2" appears to do nothing. Backround on second monitor appears misaligned and not sized correctly because the second monitor is smaller. Logged off of New account Logged back on to new account Deskscapes appears to work just fine. The wallpaper I
Oh, wow. I really CAN access these same forums from Stardock instead of only at WinCustomize. The forums themselves seem a bit more polished, so maybe I'll just use the Stardock forum access point instead. Anyway, a little progress update on what I've been doing in the meantime: I haven't done that cleanboot step yet, but I'll get to that before I do anything drastic. I went around with CCleaner to poke around with any scanned registry values, making sure to n
