They are "virtualization" software, which allows you to run a guest operating system in a host operating system, by "virtualizing" the hardware using, as you put it, software that "connects the Mac hardware through software". Heya, I can't seem to get past the choose a candidate screen. When I choose someone, it briefly shows me the "Blah VS Blah" screen, then it crashes. I'm running this in XP (through bootcamp, natively), on my macbook air, I just updated to the newest drivers for my GMA X3100. Good luck with the debug!
