More RAM only helps if you actually need more RAM. If the game isn't using all the RAM that you currently have then you don't need more of it.Also, don't waste money on fast RAM. It's very literally a waste of money. The performance difference between the dirt cheap RAM and the super high end RAM is 10% at absolute best. That money is much better spent of CPU or Video card. Just get the cheapest RAM there is and enough of it to run the games you play then focus on other parts of your comp
i'm in! the germans are joining the battlefield! latencylags ftw! XDand shadow, maybe give your computer another Gig Ram and he is still a very good gaming-station in my opinion. no one need high-end vista DX10 graphics. with a good configured windows (XP!!!^^) and a clean system, it should run without any problems.
Ich bin zwar auch Deutsch, aber damit es auch wirklich alle verstehen werde ich dir dennoch auf Englisch antworten. I'm not sure if you know it alrea
dunno how it is in your country but over here August has 31 days
I looked at another month. ;p
You pick your Demigod at the beginning of a round and start anew. There are no character slots, I don't believe. You can play any of them any time. You don't "make" a character with a name and stuff.
How can you level up then? Or do you start each round at level 1?
In Demigod there will be two different classes, Assassin and General. I'm still undecided wich way I will go and I would like to try both ways out and maybe I will play both of them simultaniously, so I would need at least two character slots. Will Demigod have this kind of option?
To help find out how your game will run, download the Supreme Commander Demo. Please note though, that this demo was never optimised, so Demigod should definitely run smoother than this.
When I have played the story part the demo my fps dropped below 10 shortly after I have started my game. However when I was playing the skirmish map I had always until the end of the game 30-40 fps and in the main game you will have the same speed. i have played some time ago a
Demigod is set in a future fantasy universe , and a mod doesn't doesn't necessarily need to resemble the main game, however this has just been a quick draft and if I do more work on it, I will try to give it a steampunky look
Indeed, you are right that a mod doesn't need to resemble the main game. I just wanted to point out that if you will do a mod which is sc-fi for a game like The Settlers/Imperium Romanum they won't go well together.
PAX is the Penny Arcade Expo,http://www.pennyarcadeexpo.com/It's over on the 31st(right or is it the 30th?)I really hope the beta starts before then but, eh what can you do.
It must be the 30th since August has only 30 days.
Tyo stated yesterday in the Demigod chat that beta would likely not be out before PAX. The whole schedule was tentative as it states in the journal. Of course there is always hope. Sorry to bring the bad news.
May I ask you what PAX is? I never heard anything about PAX and I can't find anything on Google about it.
I want to add something: Your chess figures seem to be inspired by modern weapons such as tanks, but keep in mind that the environment is in the past.
Thanks for the link. Now I want Demigod even more. Gimme Demigod, DEMIGOD!!!
In my opinion I think many of these exploits will be fixed in the soon coming open beta of Demigod.
I never played the previous UT games and it is a nice game, but I think this was more an engine demonstration of UT3 engine. As you can read on their website they seem to make mainly money with licensing the engine.
This seems to be really very interesting idea, but I am not sure how good Demigod will support modifications like this. Good luck with this idea. When you need some beta testing with this mod I will try to help as good as I can to make it as bugfree as possible.
I´m sure Demigod will run on your computer.Maybe not on highend settings but who needs them?
Players who bought a new super high-end pc just to run Crysis on max settings.
Watch out: I am in the beta of Demigod and I am the 345203 best player in Supreme Commander. I'll beat you all. Do you think Demigod will run fine on: AMD Athlon 4000+ Geforce 7800 GTX 1 gig ram x-fi xtreme gamer I have got another computer wich is better and must run Demigod fine. It can play Race Driver: GRID on medium-high settings, but overheats then. I have no idea how to fix that, because it is a notebook. A new fan isn't possible.
