Wouldn't that screw with my .rc files and user.rc?

Ok, it DID work, and it was THAT easy, but I didn't like it that much. Does LSTransparent.dll do "fake" transparencies? Because I put it in "dynamic" and well, whenever I moved the menu, the background remained the same from the place I've first opened the menu.
When I first installed LiteStep, all my Systray icons were displayed, but now I can only see the Task Manager icon in my systray. I did my own systray and still, the only icon visible was the Task Manager. I use another theme, let's say Simplicity, and still, only the Task Manager icon. How can I fix this? I want my volume icon, my scanner icon, my quicknotes icon...god dammit, I want my Messenger and ICQ icons!
Oh, and moshi, where would I find this "deskfolder.dll" thing you so gloriously talk about?
Yeah, a scrollbar would do, too.
I hate Microsoft! HATE it! If it wasn't such a b*tch to install, I'd go for Linux in a heartbeat. Hey, free programs, free OS, beautiful look... Anyway, I'm stuck with Win98, and I'm NOT upgrading to Win2K or ME or XP. Not if I can help it. In fact, I'm trying to find alternatives to Microsoft programs, like AbiWord instead of Word, Opera instead of Internet Explorer, Notetab instead of Worpad... Oh, and have you guys heard about the Dell/Microsoft thing? The one that Microsoft
Imagine you have a LONG list of IE links in your My Favorites folder, and you have a small box that will only display, let's say, 10 links at a time. Well, to see the others, you can have a small button on the bottom of the LSBox and click it, and it "toggles" the views of the links, showing the next 10 links, and so on and so forth. Catch my drift?
Is it possible to create maybe an LSBox with the links from the My Favorites folder, with a preset height and width, with toggable links that work with IE? Do you know what I mean?
Yeah. Well, I've still haven't tried it, since I'm not home. I'm at my dad's theater, and god is it boring here. Won't be home for 7 more hours, so I'll let you guys know if it did work or what.
Ok, I see my mistake now. Although I'm not at home and in use of Litestep, I just noticed I put: *LSMakeTransparent Popup.dll 50 3 1 0088AA 50 instead of: *LSMakeTransparent Popup2.dll 50 3 1 0088AA 50
Popup2.dll.
I wanted to use GRDTransparent.dll, but I'm running Win98, not Win2K.
I tried using this module in the 0.24.6 version of LiteStep, but I couldn't make it work. Does this module work with this LiteStep release? If so, how should I configure it in the step.rc? I put this line in the step.rc: *LSMakeTransparent Popup.dll 50 3 1 0088AA 50 Oh, I also DID load the module (LoadModule $ModuleDir$lstransparent.dll)
That "faked" transparency looks pretty crappy. I hope WindowsFX does a better job at transparencies.
OK, just asking.
Could it be done that whenever you go into a sub-popup-menu, the menu you just left behind becomes transparent, while the menu you're using is left static??
I think I have 3.3 or something. I don't really remember those numbers.
In what version of Windowblinds is this?
I saw that the XAqua LiteStep theme has semi-transparent menus, and I was wondering how can you do that? How?
Hold on, hold on, hold on...you can make semi-transparent windows on WindowBlinds? Really? How? HOOOOOW???
As far as I know, Winamp is NOT Open Code, so why you feeling sh*tty for that little message? Supposedly, nobody should see it.
How can I find that Ode to Neoplanet thread? This message board only reaches as far as 2 days ago, and it doesn't have a Search option, does it?
Oh, well, then I guess I can't send IE to hell.
Oh, man. Neoplanet is great!
What skins IE? Neoplanet or Webblinds? I mean, I know Webblinds skins IE, but Neoplanet skins IE too?
