Some modders (including me) can not get entrechment since it's available via impulse only, I for one don't have a credit card (I'm 15 ffs) and my mom kind of fucked her credit up...long story. Where did you get the game info data in the text file for entrenchemnt mine in a bin file. I tried to convertdata with the command "for /r c:\GameInfo %a in (*.entity) do convertdata entity %a %a txt" after copying the gameinfo folder to C; and copying convertdata.exe and it's Dll file. but I get a runtime error. Help

Missions in Sins of a Solar Empire Sins Forums

I've been playing sins for awhile now, mostly single player and was wondering if anyone else thinks that we should be able to post missions of our own the the other players. You know like they do to give credits or resources and attack other factions. That would seem to enhance the diplomacy tree somewhat. It could change the relationship with the other factions, for instance if you post a mission agianst someone their % towards your faction could lower or even go into the negative

Make sure yoou are copying the mod folder to thye right location. If you download an archive, when you unpack it it usually creates a folder inside the the mod folder. don't create a new folder under the MOD floder for it yourself, just unpack it into thye MOD folder.

I have downloaded the new beta. It plays fine but none of my MODS will work with it, I get a runtime error. So I browsed to the updated gameinfo folder to start a new MOD and am unable to make heads or tails of it. Also, I have made an ICO online account, but when I login, there's no screen to join games or anything. What's up with that? You have to add a player and then click use player. Once this is done you can enter into the lobby and join games from there.

You have to turn auto place off. Toggle the button just to the left of your planetary user interface HUD.

DANMAN3712 I had the exact same problem. I went to google and did a search for d3dx_32.dll and downloaded it, then placed in in the SINS game directory and eureka works great.

I think there should more diversity in the research brances. Also I would like to see some better planetary defenses, such and the ION Cannon from The Empire Strikes Back. how about a phase jump inhibitor that prevents people from jumping INTO a gravity well. How about different tech that would discourage spamming.

I Bought a new computer and have installed Sins Of A Solar Empire on it. However I would like to transfer my saved games from my old PC. Does anyone know where the default saved games folder is located.
