That seemed to work! I was able to activate Fences via my stardock email + password. Thank you!

Thanks, @AzDude. What am I supposed to do there? Stardock account info is fine and up to date. You mentioned that if Paypal had a physical address that differed from Stardock, there could be an issue... What is that issue? Paypal had an old address, Stardock has the "right" and current address. I updated Paypal, but since the purchase went through weeks ago using the "old" address on Paypal, I'm sure it does not make any difference right now. Is the current solution to wait fo
Hm, no, they are not the same. I'll PM.
Thanks, @AzDude. Yes, I did pay with paypal, and the email of paypal and stardock are the same.
This is pretty frustrating, and the fact that it has been 2+ weeks of me having this issue after buying this software, is more than silly. It seems like Stardock is making activating a product too hard for reasons unknown, and the solution from the community are things like, "Don't do what Stardock says, do this other thing" or "Oh yeah, rename your computer because of really odd reasons and bugs in the activation software." I mean... Really?
Alright, I uninstalled all Stardock apps, uninstalled Object Desktop Manager, restarted my machine. Then I downloaded Fences 3.0 from my Stardock account page. I installed it, and then entered my email + product key, and I got the "error -205" AGAIN!. This is not a solution.
@Hankers: I'm uninstalling all apps and ODM first, restarting my machine, then will try downloading/installing individual installers. I will see if that changes anything.
So, is ODM just all-around terrible? Why does Stardock continue to request users to use it for downloading their products?
Here is a list of my downloads. You will see that I must have downloaded Object Desktop a long while in the past, because that subscription is expired, but I have a new subscription with 352 days left. This may not be helpful, but I thought I'd post it anyway.
> If you ordered with the same email as your Stardock Account email you can you can use your OD key to activate the included apps. As I said in my first post, that does not work. I am using the same email as the one I use to log into stardock.com, which shows a subscription to Object Des
> Make sure your Stardock Account and your purchase are using the same email address. Pretty sure they are. How would I check? When I log into stardock.com and look at my downloads, I see a "Object Desktop" subscription with 352 days remaining. I presume that means that this is the right account, and the right email/password combo. >
I purchased Object Desktop a few weeks ago, and used the Object Desktop Manager to download/install apps. It failed to activate products during install, and I had to start each app with a "30-Day Trial". Multiple attempts to activate the product with email+product key and email+password failed. I've seen the "-205" error, and changed my computer name to match the forum topics about this issue, restarted my machine and it did not work at all. I've renamed my machine according to this f
