Icons spaces look awkward, Control Panel showing in 2 pages doesn't look good either...I mean...if you call it Windows 7 S
For those of you with the menu issue, you can avoid this by setting the following registry key : Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Stardock\Start8\Start8.ini\Start8 Create a value called "S11_MenusAreSolid" with type String, data should be "1"
That fixed the issue for now but I do hope that Stardock fixes this without making people play with the registry since not all will be comfortab
I have the same issue as Neil, Lightstar, and StevieTNZ, and after playing a bit with the Windows Personalization I think I know what is causing the issue, at least in my case. Only happens with Windows 7 style by the way. If I change it to Windows Modern style the issue goes away. I have set my Windows mode to Dark while having the App mode to Light. If I have both Windows mode and Apps mode as the same, either Dark or Light, the problem goes away, which isn't what I want. Rolling ba
I'm using Start11 along with ExplorerPatcher which lets us put the Taskbar in the left or wherever we want, works perfectly, and has had zero issues for almost a year. Of course, it would be better to have that functionality built-in already in Start11 which I still hope for one day but so far, I'm happy that I managed to accomplish what I need.
I was trying to decide if should buy or not Start11 for multi-device. As per the email below, I can use the coupon provided to get an EXTRA 15% Off and the coupon isn’t working at all. Tried in 3 different browsers (Firefox, Chrome, and Edge). I don’t get any message saying the coupon was expired or not valid. It just doesn’t apply the proper discount. <![endi
I'm using ExplorerPatcher along with Start10 and works perfectly and will upgrade to Start11 only when they implement the ability to move the Taskbar to the Left/Right
I'm still at Windows 10 using Start10 and planning to move into 11 soon (3 Gaming Rigs). I always used my Taskbar on the left side as well so I will only upgrade to Start11 if we have that feature implemented otherwise I will have to move into StartAllBack which is able to do that.
I think I've found what is causing this problem, at least for me. After a lot of research and tests it seems that the new option MS implemented called Game Mode is causing the issue, meaning that Game Mode prevents Desktop to refresh. I've just turn off Game Mode and now my recycle bin is showing the correct icon for empty and full.
