I was browsing the Gal Civ 3 website and clicked on "Metaverse", because I was curious what that was. I see it's a ranking system and our games are automatically recorded and ranked there. I typed in the name I use in game "Lexx" and I see someone else is also using the same name. When I do a search for my scores, it comes up blank. I can find data for the other Lexx, but no scores for myself. My name is listed first, so I assume I registered it first, but my

I would really like it if you could tell the game to auto upgrade your starbases. Perhaps give you the option to focus on production, attack or defense. Seeing as you can already tell the starbases to order constructors, it would be nice if they also used them automatically also. I tend to build an economy starbase for all my planets, as well as all the mining starbases. I leave extra constructors on them when they get maxed out and when I research a new technology for them it gets re

I think I found the problem. The NPCs on medium difficulty build hundreds of really ineffective ships and they also build starbases everywhere. I would prefer that the NPCs do a little more research first and build fewer ships that are more of a challenge. In my most recent game, the Terran NPC who spawned next to me built a whole bunch of starbases inside my territory. He claimed half of my resources before I had a chance to. I ended

As my games get to over 300 turns, I am getting severe lag issues. I don't know what the NPCs are doing but they seem to have hundreds of ships and starbases. I don't even have many ships moving around, but I end up waiting for several minutes between turns. I just lost a game because my PC keeps thinking the program is not responding and it closed the game. My PC isn't even that bad. I have a Core I5-3570K overclocked to 4.2 gigs (liquid cooled), a 2GB Radeon HD 7870 vide

THANK YOU! For changing the loading screen. I really didn't like that big ugly Drengin staring at me while the game loaded and I always minimized it until I got that annoying video driver popup. When I loaded up the game today, I was pleasantly surprised to see a new loading screen that I like SO MUCH BETTER! The new Alterian vs. Drengin loading screen looks awesome and I really appreciate that you replaced the old one.

Yeah that is a big "If' they will be ready. Not that it's stopped many other game developers from releasing a game while it's still in early beta in hopes to create a big increase in sales. 5.2 - 5.3 was epic fail as far as I'm concerned and I'd gladly revert my game back if I could. Hopefully the next patch with fix some of the things 5.3 broke (I'm looking at you planet icons and resourc

I decided to opt out on 5.83 since I like 5.82 better. The resources don't give you as much and armor doesn't work the same. I liked how armor gave a little defense against energy and missiles. That made more sense to me than just protecting against guns. Armor plating would have some resistance to energy beams and missile impacts where as shields or point defense systems really wouldn't protect against projectiles. I hope they change their mind on that one and leave it like it is

Opting in to 5.83 caused all the planet icons on the list to the right to show blank. Some were larger and some smaller than the circle before, but they showed up. Now it's blank inside the circles. All the resource icons on the map lost their colors and turned white. (except for anti-matter which is still yellow. Duranium lost it's red color and turned white, ect. I got quite the surprise the first time I tried to scan a guarded anomoly. It never seemed right that

My graphics card drivers are from 2012. I have tried using newer drivers and they always cause problems for me and mess up my desktop sizing or create graphical issues in some of the games I play. My 3 year old drivers work flawlessly with everything I do and I see no reason to update them. Every time I launch Gal Civ 3 I get an annoying popup telling me my graphics card drivers are too old, and I need to update them. I DON'T NEED TO UPDATE MY DRIVERS! The game runs fine w

What I feel part of the problem is aside from needing new hardware or driver updates ect. to play a new game is that too many game developers are taking what I would call "the Microsoft approach" with newer games. It's a disturbing trend I have seen far to often lately. Like we've seen since Windows 95 Instead of spending the extra time and resources to thoroughly beta test by the company it is left to us the consumers to help test so they can put out updates and address issues as they
