The text on the show names is most definitely not the same as on the tabs. When I change the fonts on the tabs, the text under the individual entries does not change.

Those backgrounds have a box around the dock (even though they are called tabbed) so they work. The two I mentioned do not, each entry has a little "tray" or ring under it, with no box around the entire dock so there is nothing to grab. When I say "entry" I don't mean the tabs themselves, but the individual icons within each tab. I was able to change the dock style, resize it, and change it back.

Koasati, I was wrong about that font choice on the Misc. Tab. It does not change the font of the text under each entry. So it appears there is no way to do that.

I don't know what you mean by natively, but it does not work on the 3d Leopard style or the Vista Glass. Seems it must be a box style in order to be able to grab the edge.

By the way, what does a system tab do? It's just an empty tab. Is it supposed to do something special?

koasati, you are right. Seems silly to hide it there intead of on the Appearance tab. Thanks. The lack of documentation is a big minus for these products, which are otherwise pretty cool.

Turns out the problem is that I was using a Leopard 3D style. The left/right resize can't be done. I changed it to a box stye and it worked.

I see that I can hover over the bottom of an entry and drag up/down to add/remove rows. I can't seem to reduce the number of entries per row. The pointer won't turn into a left/right.

I've searched every possible button and setting and can't find this. how does one control the number of items on a tab. My tab dock seems to have a fixed number (9) of entries per tab. Also is it possible to change the font on the items (not on the tabs themselves, I found that). The standard font is way too big.

I have lots of problems with windowblinds not repainting the screen. For example, one of my tabbed objectdock panels has left behind a large white area after it minimized. ALso, every time i start internet explorer all the menu and toolbar backgrounds are black. If I refresh it in some way, by opening/closing a toolbar, it all comes back normal. Is there anything I can do, or is it a bug. I'm all up to date on the versions. It's only
