The EA download manager version should be up to date?
Polynomial
You can however use the EA download manager.
I just put sequel in the title as an attention grabber =P
If you liked Demigod and have a 360 you really owe it to yourself to try this game out. These are the people who made Demigod.
No, I'm not trolling. Long story short back in 2008 when Demigod was being developed the economy went real bad and GPG lost 50% of its workforce. That group of people went to form Uber Entertainment and have been working on Monday Night Combat since. Comes out Aug 11. Its basically Demigod the 3rd person shooter. Literally. This is the same team that made Demigod. I'm super excited over it. My Xbox live name is Polyn0mial. I'll be getting it next week 4 sure. http://www.uberen
This guy is ridiculous if he's complaining about Stardock DRM and update procedures.
Quoting edpfister, reply 242 Yeah, I agree with most of this. It's sad that these old game types that were hugely popular were basically abandoned. I can see the large money grubbing companies shying away from them but what about all the indie/small developers out there? If one of them actually made a really well done game of one of these types I bet they would sell a lot of copies and get a loyal fanbase that wou
Looks like Steamworks is pretty much taking over everything. D2D giving up means a lot.
I had to bump in when someone confused NWN2 for Bioware. Again. And Nesrie, the method for appreciating physical art is different from video games. Same thing with movies. Citizen Kane is still an advance movie in terms of cinematography to this day. Playing video games changes drastically when you're talking about a 10 year old game. Its next to impossible to be "wow"ed by Baldur's Gate today if you never played it with its extremely advanced camera system and engrossing text based c
You specifically refer to me in the above post. Read it yourself.
I'm the biggest Bioware fanboy ever. I only became one post KOTOR. I have tried to play the Baldur's Gate. I can't. The game is tool old. I can appreciate it for its time period, but to play it now is next to impossible. Stop insulting me Nesrie, its getting annoying. I'm trying to keep this troll free.
Don't get me wrong, They're good games, however none of them even compare to Baldur's Gate II. That game worked so well and stands as the best of the genre because of the interesting characters and their interactions, the interesting world and locations and the story, which was fairly fresh at the time. And the antaognist? Shit, he still stands as one of the best in gaming.
The problem here is unlike a bo
NWN2 was Obsidian. Again.
Autarkhos, I've been trolling since like page 2.
The difference between you and me is all you do is speculate. Anytime I reference anything you write it off as wrong or irrelevant. Graphics are not getting any better soon. This is a fact because consoles drive the industry and consoles have a limit. You continue to generalize games except you cannot even name one when graphics clearly and totally outweighed the rest of the game. You're essentially making an argument with no proof. You simply keep repeating yourself that increased ar

Actually completely wrong. Just because reviewers focused on graphics does not mean dev teams did. He's also ignoring the fact that game companies are focusing more on the graphical quality of their current games (I mean, it was one of the selling points for Crysis, as an example) instea
Quoting Polynomial, reply 140Bioshock changed the whole light story FPS concept we used to have. You seem to say all the critically acclaimed games in recent history are terrible. I know, we can never hope to achieve the quality of games back in the late 90s and early 2000. You know, the period where devs spent more time on graphics than anything else. Except, it didn't. That's what Half Life, Deus Ex, System Shock etc did years befor
Quoting coreimpulse, reply 132No, bioshock was a cheap rippoff of system shock 2, stupified for the console crowd. Can't deny that, man. Still, though, they went over completely different themes. Quoting Polynomial, reply 134Do you like any games? Bioshock was an important game for the industry and one hell of a good game to boot. It wasn't really. It's not changed the industry or the way we view game
A hah! Society momentum is building! Answers will be forced! Victory is close to being mine!
It had style and it examined both objectivism and the value of choice. As far as I could tell, anyway. The game was dull as hell other than that, though.
Do you like any games? Bioshock was an important game for the industry and one hell of a good game to boot.
Quoting Annatar11, reply 32 Which still doesn't have anything to do in-game. You don't find a clan in-game. You find it out of game, and play with them. You're not prevented from doing this by not having the game somehow magically find you a clan. You just say "Hey, I play at around this time, who else that plays around there wants to start a clan?" on the forums or chat and yay? This is how it works in games that *have* clan support fe
But for Elemental? There aren't going to be nearly enough people playing in organized clans and tournaments to warrant development time on these features. Maybe if there is big demand post-release they'll add it, as Frogboy said they're saving budget for MP additions if they're needed. But doing these up-front, and then ending up with nobody using them, is a waste of time and money. The game itself needs to appeal to clan play before clan su
When is Society coming out? >.>
This game is not a srs business multiplayer games guys. Its single player focused. Stardock has said from the very beginning this game is all about the single player. Multiplayer just happens to be there.
Quoting Polynomial, reply 105BG was good for its time. Its not so good anymore. Same thing with Planescape Torment. Its sorta time to move on. See. I think THIS is the main reason people can't see video games as art. In the video game world, it's a constant rat race to get to the next prettiest game, instead of trying to develop the next greatest game. Baldur's Gate and Planescape Torment are works of art in the gaming world. The
