If you are using SLI/Crossfire or the "dual gpu cards", (cards really use SLI/Crossfire, of course they leave that part out) you can set the game to use only one CPU core through your SLI/Crossfire settings (CPU is not a typo). I really hope this game uses multi-threading, especially with all of the ships/ai/planets/meshes it has to process

I noticed that on the front of the box it says "Games for Windows" which in my experience means it uses Windows Live for multiplayer. Having UaW (Universe at War) I would have to say WL makes SoE look good. Having to pay a monthly fee to unlock all modes of multiplayer was a great way to piss off a lot of people. So my question is does Sins actually use Windows Live and if it does are you limited with a basic subscription (free sub). As far as LAN goes UaW has a limiter for 30ms I
