Thanks, I tried but to no avail. It seems something very important got corrupted, because it can't even reinstall properly now. Making a bootable USB and reinstalling Windows now

Can't really purge if I can't boot windows at all
I installed the latest update, when it popped up upon starting my pc, and now it's caught in a BSOD-loop, and can't even revert to before the installation, just errors out when I try (generic error message, nothing interesting) On Win 10(whatever the latest version is) , i5-4570S, GTX580 Edit: BSOD says IRQL NOT LESS OR EQUAL, and the error code when attempting to use system restore is 0x80070003
