Ok, so I 'fixed' that problem by alt-tabbing the primary box to desktop, and then alt-tabbing it back to SWG. Then everything works fine... for 5 to ten minutes, After that time the primary suddenly looses the mouse pointer. ie it's been working fine but after having flicked across to the secondary box, when I flick back to primary the mouse disappears. If I alt tab to desktop, the mouse is working fine, if i flick across to the secondary, the mouse is fine. But in SWG on the primary after havin

Folks, Been using Multiplicity on Eve, Wow and EQ2 for many months now (not with Teamspeak though, have never got it to work with Teamspeak unfortunately). Thought I'd give SWG a retry. Has anyone else tried Multiplicity with this?? Problem is that when i 'flick' the mouse across to the secondary machine, the mouse pointer doesn't go across, it simply turns my character on the main machine. Any ideas?? Thanks Recoil101

I've just set that. Will try it out tomorrow and let you know. Thanks for the tip, if it works I'll be very happy seeing as this problem was reported in 2005 and is still driving me mad in 2008! Thanks :-)

:) After extensive testing (and even more extensive swearing) I have found what is causing this!! It's the accursed Vista security. I had been starting EQ2 by right clicking on the link and selecting "Run as Administrator". If, however, I simply double click the link then I get a message saying titled "Admistrative Privileges Required" that says "LaunchPad requires administrative privileges to run properly..... Press OK to close the launchpad, or Cancel to ignore the warning.

Yep, exactly the same symptoms here. I was running with Vista 32 on both boxes and everything ran like clockwork. I'm now running with Vista 64 on a brand new primary box and am having issues. 1) When EQ2 is running on the primary (windowed or maxed), I can no longer move the mouse pointer onto the secondary box. 2) When running in windowed mode, if I move the mouse pointer outside of EQ2 and onto my primary machine's desktop, the mouse pointer 'disappears'. If I click somewher

Hmmm ignore that lol. Couple of reboots, a bit of coarse language, and yelling "Oh god of all things technical! Why hast thou forsaken me??" and it started working. Thanks anyway, P.S. Apart from the jerkiness, which is a bit annoying... P.P.S. ...and the Teamspeak issue which most others seem to be also having, which I raised a support ticket for.

Hi folks, Originally I was running as follows : Primary : XP pro Secondary 1 : Vista 32 Secondary 2 : XP pro No problems. However, I needed to rebuild my primary box with vista in order to benefit from DX10 on my new graphics card. So I put Vista 64 on, installed multiplicity, configured it as primary and connected to the vista secondary box. No problems. I switched on the XP secondary, multiplicity recognised it, and I configured it's placement. All well and good, excep

Oh well, at least I have a nice clean PC now o0. Yeah, if the primary is ok with xp 64 now, would be good if you could update the FAQ please, so nobody else wipes their machine! On the positive side, I got the Multiplicity demo running with 0 problems and am delighted with it. I'll check my other machines are ok with it, then you can expect a purchase! Many thanks Pete

Multiplicity Pro sounds ideal for my bench of machines, so will be trying out the trial version asap. However, I note on the product spec on the site that XP 64 is NOT supported as the primary box. Unfortunately this is the OS that I use. Before I undertake the task of backing up, formatting and installing XP 32, can you please confirm that xp 64 is still not supported on the latest version as the OS on the primary box please?? Many thanks Pete
