humm, I don't recall sword get 2 counterattack at war college level, it's only gave you one counterattack unless you playing athe (red faction with those wine drinking flag) do had that sword gave you 2 but normal race, don't get those....
Well, I got killed by throwing knives, but again I wasn't wear armor and it's was mage with no mana, and using war staff..Personaly, I think it fine as now....they should be small damage, shouldn't hurt on one who wear armor.... there is many bandit throw at me, I'm playing solo with no army, they do kill me that, but that once time.. beside, what about early armor, or early spear, should they buff too? I think not.. throwing knives is fine as now..
Good thinking Tuidjy, but if I build myself, it's other story, I don't want take too long to build, rush build with gold is very limited, it's so easy to spend gold than saving it, for me that case, isn't call to arms far in magic tech, but again depend on who, I reseached most civil and some militray and little magic tech to crack army out...

I am not so sure adventurer is that good, since hero do not respwan after hired or killed by enemies (unlike war of magic, they do repswan, but only after tech had be reseached and land is still not own by any faction) it's very limited, and even it's might saved you 1000 gold, making gold is easier and simple, if enemies kill hero before you hired or get them join your rank, that adventurer is useless, unless it's same as old day, making adventurer move faster, move one more

Well, way I play game last time, A.I didn't lost city to those monster, they had way too many city and setttle city faster than I'm....so I don't see any problem of this (yes I'm playing 1.01)
I try to making simpe map, but I don't see how I can add or mod grains, marterial and essences in map maker in the game...and put land spot one by one is way too long, there had to be easier way to making map.. map maker isn't good and not very simple in this game.
I agree that Conclaves should build on essences (more the better, but I don't recall any building in conclaves need more than one essences, I do knew some building need one essences in conclaves) if no essences, then town or fortness would be better off rather than conclaves, but you do want one conclaves at least to reseaching faster if you done all building and not making any troop, but making troop is fortness's job while Town job if all building are done builded, is to
They don't even had a armor as well, yes, they are crap, even 3 level city can't handle normal enemies single troop...
Big problem is that once monster raze city, it's ruined, even you careful, there is a.i spawn city all over map only to had monter ruined as well, no fun for me. When I said ruined, I mean you can't resettle on that spot again, and area as well.
Yes, too many time I using early item, but rare using high end gear because it's too long to reseach those tech all the way..for me that is. Early item is easy to reseach, short, simple, petty good for most of part....
