I am curious to this answer as well. I almost did the exact same transaction. In addition, while there is a discount for the "upgrade" process, there is no discount for the permanent license. (I tried once logged in and once not logged in ... same price.) I was really hoping to at least get a discount for one permanent license as an existing Fences user. I can live with the reduced number of active installs ...
