I've had similar issues with scaling on multiplicity and I have a solution that works great for me. Download a portable program called HRC. http://funk.eu/hrc/ It changes resolutions with a hotkey. Set up your 4k resolution to one hotkey and your 1080 resolution to another. Once you connect remotely to that host, click your hotkey, and it instantly changes. Change it back the same way. I am still having issues with this and have already installed the latest versions. I contacted customer support and we round in circles for a bit about this, and they finally said they couldn't solve it and offered me a refund. There is a way to automate it, yes. Open up notepad, and paste in: @echo off taskkill /f /im explorer.exe start explorer.exe Save it with an extension of .bat, not .txt. Just run that file and it should work...
