I love fences, and I use multiplicity all the time with 2 computers side by side. I have multiple monitors so never did really care for groupy that much, I might if I were forced to one monitor. For me I would like things that make what I use the computer to do easier.

No, I don't think I've played ff4, I've played, 1/2/5/6/7/8/9/10/12/13.1/14 (still play this one)/15...so I am pretty much a ff fan. One thing I was thinking about, not sure if it is in the planning. But I was thinking about dialogs and if there was going to be a way of having chained dialogs? Basically the ability to have the char have a small conversation with an npc. Maybe even a label on the dialog to indicate who is speaking.

Ok, I see how it is working with the trigger, I still don't get the green arrows to the dialog. I just need to adjust it so I only need 1 trigger and let them hit them in order. I can work with that.

no, it will display each time you walk over it. I do have my dialogs off to the side, and the idea I'd like is to have the first dialog have triggers in a square around the char, as they walk out they would get the first, then the 2nd then the 3rd. So it really needs to show only once. I'm pretty sure that the events will get more abilities as they figure out how they want to add them, and to what. Just putting in what I'd like.

First off, I like it. I played with the ones that came with it to see what could be done, and I think it's a wonderful start. I started on a game to learn my way around and found a few things that were confusing, and a couple that maybe might be possible additions. I know this is alpha so I suspect that there a lot of things to be added, but I was looking for some simple props that are flames, or torches, along with other maybe some tables, chairs, more things to decorat

After messing with it this evening and looking through the demo games and messing with them, I could see something (and I'm rather open on what it might be) to allow for extended logic that isn't built in. Now, what I've seen so far I am going to have a good bit of fun with, and will provide more feedback after I decide what to try and build first.

Most of the time I find new software when I go looking for it because I need something to do it. Outside of a gaming mag I read (just one, only have so much time) it's more for what might be interesting. I do think the gaming tool would be fun if it was more create less script. Being a dev I know that events often times need some type of event handler to do what you want it to do. I've got the Ace rpg making software, which is interesting, but there is a lot of

well one issue for me is that I have all the icons on a monitor that is NOT the primary, so setting that checkbox would for sure move them more than they do now. They generally stay put, but a driver update at some point I think has disabled all but 1 monitor and that causes them to move. This isn't something I blame fences for, it was when I said restore the snapshot that it didn't put them back on the non primary monitor. So, it's annoying when it happens, but not a dail

Actually I have 4 monitors and all are display port, I like to have all my icons on the top left monitor which is not the primary monitor. I installed a new graphics driver and it moved everything to the primary monitor...including all the fences. So I went to restore the snapshot, which nicely arranged them on the primary monitor. The top monitors are 1440p resolution and the bottom ones are 4k, so there is a resolution difference, and moving them from the 4k to the

Having made my living, and still making it, in the world of programming/development it's hard sometimes to explain to end users why some things just don't justify the cost. Microsoft isn't changing windows to block things like winblinds, but to prevent bad programming from making them look bad. For those of you who have been using software back in the 95 up days, I can tell you that most people had little distinction between a bad program and windows falling on it's face. Th

I am probably the exception over the common, but I have 4 monitors, 2x4k and 2x2k monitors and 2 video cards to make them all work and still be able to play a game. While I do miss the prettier look of windows 7, I do get how much of a resource effort that can put on a system. I love fences, greatest program ever. But never had much luck with winblinds or winfx...and never much cared about the icons since they change so often anyways, so I wouldn't miss them. Wha
