Hey everyone, Had a basic question I guess, am I right in assuming the only way to create legions is to either train a citizen as a general for 5 legions or create the military academy and train legions that way? I've made a military academy and it looks like you can only have one of these per player, so does this mean that only one planet can train legions or will this enable the train legion option for all my worlds? Just wondering if I'm missing something here

Hello my Galactic Civilization friends :) I recently installed Airmasters trek addon from the steam workshop and it's pretty awesome. I am however getting an Incompatible Faction Detected error message for the Xindi Faction. It says "unknown ship style". So the game does this whenever I start it up, I click ok and it carries on with no problems. Was wondering if anyone else has encountered this error and if there is a way to disable it? Thanks for

Hi everyone, Newbie question here, when meeting races in the galaxy they always seem to know where all my planets are so their freighters just come on in lol which is fine but how can the AI know this without exploring my territory. Am I missing something? I want to trade with them but have no idea where all their planets are. Is there some diplomatic or easy way to have the AI reveal where all their planets are and the vastness of their borders. I don't want to

Hi everyone, just starting playing Galciv 3 and am loving it however I notice when playing on even really huge maps, I could start in the corner and the AI players all surround me so I get boxed in and there is the rest of this massive map that goes un used. <br style="color: #dbdbdb; font-family: 'Motiva Sans', Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px

Hi Everyone, New to the game and am playing Galciv 3 with Crusade expansion. I'm well into my game but notice at times when I enter a new turn I will get more then one diplomatic message now and then but the game flashes by them by me and I can never read or choose anything and simply goes to the last message I have. That one will display fine however I never get to see anything that came in before it. Has anyone encountered this before? It

Hi All, New to Galciv 3 and still learning the ropes but did have a question about trade routes. I currently have 10 / 17 trade routes active but after a couple turns I checked and then I had 9 / 17 and turn later it went to 8 / 17 so I don't understand why that would be happening, I can't see the trade ships getting destroyed or if that's happening I'm not getting told about it, and not at war with anyone I'm trading with. Do trade routes just end after so many turns?<

Hi Everyone, Sorry if this topic has been discussed before, I'm new to the game and was wondering if there is a way to warn of alien ships in my space without starting a war? I've used the diplomacy and most of the time this works but sometimes I get ignored and they just head deeper into my territory. At this point I want to go and shoot them down but I have to start a war to do so. Anyway to blow the invader away on the down low? :)

Well guys it's been a slice, I'm going to stop visiting this post as I feel I've said everything that needs to be said. I really think everyone is not getting full service, not just me. You may agree with me or not agree, of course that's your decision. I think stardock has created a very good game and yes I agree that impulse is not as evil as steam BUT it's still a bad thing. I don't appreciate being treated like a criminal when I've bought the game and too many
But it's not just a matter of Stardock "working a little harder". More work means employing and paying someone to do the work, which means a higher price for the end product, a longer wait for patches, or a longer development time, and so on. Extra work is always something that should be avoided, as long as there's other more important things to get done. (And there always will be, in the case of any duplicate pat

As I've pointed out, the CEO/majority owner of the company has said this isn't going to happen. They've lost my confidence until this is resolved and I know I'm not the only one that thinks this way. This discussion has happened several times before, most notably when Sins stopped getting stand-alone patches during the Impulse roll out. I'm paraphrasing a bit, but Brad's overall answer to this was that Stardock was better off losin
njareg, one thing you really aren't getting is the fact that, Impulse makes Stardock's putting out of patches 1) faster, 2) cheaper, and 3) seamless.
Whiskley I do understand these things but what your not hearing my friend is that everything you've mentioned is really in stardocks hands. The bottom line is when impulse goes down and if you don't have a backup then you're only method of updating your game is totally gone
Well I'm not surprised, I suspect that was the case. He's arguing for this radical new approach idea which in reality is nothing of the sort. The idea is we buy the game but get a lower level of support, wow what a ground breaking idea that is. let's see how many customers this works on.
