They haven't been activelly mass marketing the game either. I expect numbers to pick up significantly once they put out the demo and market the game. There've been posts suggesting they've been waiting for the various connectivity issues to be solved before they do the ad push.

I think any game can be fun if you have a suitable opponent. People think chess is fun, and it has none of those things.
OTOH I would pay $ for a 900# to QoT
Don't make the demigod gone, give control of his hero to the others players in the game. If the demigod is gone then everyone on that team should just leave when one person does. I can micro two or three heros no problem.
I would never team again if I could do this.
I prefer favor items being more powerful than they currently are. I fully support the notion that the game is most fun when I feel like A GOD. An unstoppable force! And for those people who still need to work their way up to the better items, it will feel SO OH OH OH good when they get there. I do not want aneimic items or anemic abilities or anemic builds. I want power I can shove in your face and go WRAR!!!!!! And when you progress to the point where you can do the same you will enj
I use XP and play GalCiv2, it works fine.
Nah, I don't think a tiny bit would be all that bad. I'd say 1-2 points should be enough.
"Toggle AI" -- HUH.. I think this explains everything, they must have forgotten to turn it on at release!
Does anyone know if the Death Effect occurs right at the time of death or instead at the end of the death animation?
You do know that in each Epoch they plan on resetting all favor items and favor points. So while in a single epoch you might gain all the items, eventually you'll lose them and have to re-purchase them.
If they reset all favor points then there will still be people who have thousands just sitting there doing nothing until the next epoch. We need a way to spend these points once we already have the items we want, they should be good for something.
Thanks for the info.
I downloaded and installed "My Colors" (the AMD theme) from: https://www.stardock.com/products/mycolors/ When I start the program it tells me an update is availible, so I update the program and reboot. After rebooting I load Impulse to play a game, and I am again told that there is an update availible for MyColors, but this time it was to update through Impulse rather than the program itself. If I update in Impulse and the
Search seems borked right now, so I don't know if this has been mentioned, but I think we should have the ability to buy and use consumable favor items so we have a use for all those extra favor points we will be earning once we've purchased all the items we want to use. I wouldn't mind a second favor slot for these items, as long as they too are limited to one per game. Because of the nature of these items I think it would be cool if they were all extremely over powered, although sin
I came here specifically to request this feature: An MMORPG style health bar window/frame your team. But my search turned up this thread, so I will add my voice.
Just played a 4v4, most pings were in the 90-140 range for me, one guy had a 250ish one, and he was 250ish to everyone. We entered the lobby and connected great, the game started fast. EDIT: Removed irrelevant stuff.
Sorry, the banlist can not be reasoned with.
To balance it.
I think we need a DG named King Leonidas, and when he is near an enemy at theedge of the map he can yell, "THIS! IS! SPARTA!" and kick him off the side.
Snakes die when they bite themselves.
I have no qualms with anybody running through defenses to grab flags, that is A-OK in my book, because there are drawbacks and penalties for taking the time to do that early on. However, it is exploitave (in my opinion) to use the Erubus warp trick to reach portals in Crucible etc, because there is a distinct lack of consequences for doing this.
No, it's laced with emotion and spite. He didn't do Stardock a favor by not pirating the game as he claims, this is an indication of his underlying dickishness. I have low tolerance for dickishness.
The ability gives a +15/tick regen bonus. That's the healing they are talking about.
I probably shouldn't be doing you this favor since you go out of your way to insult Stardock, but I'd like to help you out the door. Write an email to sales@stardock.com if you honestly think the game isn't going to work for you ever again. They have the power to refund your money and remove you from the community.
Clicky items, it's an old MMOPRG term from my EverQuest days. You 'click' the item and it casts a spell etc. New one: (ally) Used a potion on myself at the same time she was apparently trying to heal me. She wasted her mana, then died when UB showed up.
Quoting kerzain, reply 1 I just timed it, it has a ten second duration, not three. Don't forget other healing effects also contribute during this period too (like natural regen + items etc). I realize it lasts 10 seconds. It heals a shit ton more than 2000/3000 during that time, because the 2000/3000 mark is met after just a few seconds. Natural regen does not account fo
