How does the extreme planet option affect planet spawns? Like, does it take ones already determined by the habitable planets option and make a % of those extreme, or does it add a number based on left over non habitable planets?
Beef Hammer
already back under 4$
8800gt is an amazing card, get it
if you haven't played bioshock id get that, now
wolfenstein, doom, civilization, earliest pc games i can remember playing
it's a minor inconvenience that could be easily fixed
its not new, but homeworld is a 4x rts isnt it? great game if u havnt played it, just old now so dont expect a whole lot of pretty
I'm going to jump on the bandwagon with people with no problems and think it's on your end, in fact other than that fleet movement bug last year i don't run into any crashes or anything. BTW just got ToA this week and i'm loving it!!!
i play on both, and both my systems more or less dominate galciv hardware wise, xp on both i'm not sold on vista yet. The laptop is actually a mac book pro u sing bootcamp to run xp pro and works just great
i use a fan that sits on the bottom of my mac book pro to keep it cool. mine also runs with a 8600m gt from nvidia, so far no problems with any games ive tried
yes i am running xp pro on my mac book pro and it runs flawless, actually xp has been more stable than mac os x..., im using the bootcamp beta since i dont have the newest version of os X, but yea it works just fine, as do all other games i throw on here, bioshock, any halflife engine game like cs:s, wow, even crysis. so yea it works.
meh, it saves me time from checking a star with no planets, so its not totally worthless
im actually using the previous version of os x, tiger or w/e its called, so im using the bootcamp beta and running xp, runs flawless
i have a mac book pro, get one with leopard and use boot camp to install vista or xp on a seperate partition, mine runs pretty much anything from galciv to bioshock, cept for like crysis. great battery life and power too
what fixed this problem for me was, i think iwas getting this bug because i name ships the same thing then save over it. I used to do this alot, anyway i deleted all the ship i had made and i havnt had a problem since. I do get an invisible planet in my planet lists once in awhile but on the actual game screen so its no bother.
after alt/tab back into the game the bases all came back, but my constructor that I designed was still invisible, the default ones were not, so I've deleted all customized ships/races and i am going to start a new game to see what happens
now it seems i cant see any starbases, dont know if its because of making a new ship design that bugged like i had just posted, guess ill have to start a new game to see
seems that every time i make a new constructor ship design, its picture is black, and when i build the starbase it too will be invisible, anyone else seen this?
what is moo?
well at least im not the only one getting this problem, im fairly new to the game and i thought i was doing something wrong...
