Reply to Icon duplication between "running programs" and "shortcuts" in ObjectDock WinCustomize Forums

I asked similar question ~10 month ago. The thing about OS X approach, is that you always go to the same place to launch application or to switch to a running copy. If application is pinned to dock, it stays on the same place which means that you can spend less time looking for icon when selecting it. With multi-dock approach, I have to first look if program is running and then go to separate dock (or tab). It would be great if objectdock can support this functionality.

combine windows and static entries in the dock in ObjectDock Stardock Forums

Is there any plans to combine dynamic tiles created for each window and static entries added to the dock? On OS X all applications are added to the dock. You can pin an application in this case you can use entry in the dock to start it. In the current version, I will get two copies of some application in the dock. One static entry and one running entry. Adding all applications statically to the dock is not practical. Thank you /Alex
