The tech tree for me was very confusing when I first started out. In all the games I've played, availability of items in the tech tree are not based on chance. You upgrade to item 1A so you can get item 2A and then get item 3A. In elemental you upgrade to item 1A and item 1B may not be available 90% of the time, so you are forced to choose item 2B instead and hope that the next time around item 2A will be available. Confusing. I think there needs to be some sort of visual indicator on

I often find myself doing the following Find some loot, such as armor Determine which unit in my group needs the loot Drag the loot to that units icon Click on that units icon and equip or use the loot Move my group toward the next destination OOPS! I forgot that I currently only have a unit selected, not my entire goup Maybe other people don't have this issue? I do it all the time--very annoying.

I think it would be helpful to allow players to arrange the order of units in a group. Being able rearrange the group order by dragging the unit icons around would be perfect. I typically like to have my group ordered by melee fighters, ranged fighters, mages, and other npcs (such as wolves). This allows me to easily know who I should distribute weapons or magical items to without having to mouse over every single unit.

Maybe this is planned but hasn't been implemented yet? Most games of this genre allow you to create a group shortcut key for your units. For example, select a number of units and press ctrl-1 to create a group, then select that group again using the '1' key.

I have a Intel 6700 Core Duo. My CPU utilization hovers around 5% running @ 1920x1280. If the final DreamScene has more GPU optimizations that would be outstanding, but I can't imagine the utilization would drop much for me. Also, keep in mind that any animated background relies on your video driver performance, even without GPU optimizations. If you have a beta video driver or one that is having issues you could very well see high CPU utilization as a result.
