I'd like to be able to make better wallpaper. At the moment I'm using Paint Shop Pro. Photoshop costs too much for my 'infrequent' needs. PSP's ok for doing skins, but I would like a prog that can make a better effort at wallpaper.
Usually I try a couple of skins per week. There are so may good skins its impossible to try them all. I keep about a dozen favourites. At the moment my part finished skin is on my desktop - looks weird! I spend most of my time reading messages... I've just been looking at the latest poll, the one asking how many hours you spend skinning. I was wondering how long it takes a top skinner to produce a skin? Mostly looks like 1 to 10 hrs per week. I had my first skin posted last week (over 3000 downloads already...) and that took me 30hrs over a few days (no social life...). Maybe it took longer being my first attempt. My second is looking really good and is probably just as labour intensive. How long should I be aiming for?

Anything been done yet about that suggestion of having threads only load the last 50 posts? It would keep this going a bit longer. Its not far now to 1000. I haven't seen a policeman or police car in my area of the city for months. Some 'youth' was stealing cars a couple of years ago, but it's been quiet since then. Must be exciting living in one of these US cities where there are criminals and police with guns - almost like the TV.

Right click the taskbar, choose 'properties', select the 'taskbar' tab, then 'customize'. There should be a WB icon there, make sure it is not set to 'always hide'.
