Prices for things vary according to what country you are in. So, internet here is half the price, but, petrol and diesel are double the price... You aren't comparing similar economic systems.

Let me ask a question as all this isn't clear. Current users of OD with W7/8 will see no change in their method of payment and suite of programs. Users of W10 and going forward will have a subscription based ODI with a suite of programs for W10. Is this correct?

I would like to see a proper XP type fly-out menu instead of the clickfest Vista introduced. Oh wait... right click the taskbar, select toolbars, new toolbar - navigate to the startmenu and select 'programs'. You will now have a fly-out menu of all your programs just like a proper XP start menu :) Note: you need to sort out folder permissions for the start menu before this will work ;)

Four hard drives and DVDs for my photos (RAW files). Acronis 10 and SyncBack SE work fine for me. No way is anything of mine going on the 'cloud' ;)
