Differences between Impulse Digital Download and Retail? in Sins of a Solar Empire Sins Forums

I've been considering buying a copy of Solar Empire, but before I do, I wanted to see if anyone could let me know if there is any significant difference between the version you can download from Impulse and the one that you can buy from a retail location. I was wondering if anyone would be able to clear a few questions up for me, relating to the various campaigns available in Galactic Civilizations II. For starters, as I understand it, each of the GalCiv II games, the original Dread Lords, Dark Avatar, and Twilight of Arnor, have their own distinct campaigns.
