Quad=upwards of $a whole shitload. DX10 (AKA R600, nVidia's DX10 card for the future)=upward of $600. However, if you can't afford this, wait till they come out and practically ALL CPUs and GPUs price will go down.
That will do just fine...if you have a Core2Duo LGA775 socket ready, I would recommend spending $180 to upgrade to an E6300. However, this will EASILY run your system. Unless your being sarcastic
