logonstudio vista in Skinning WinCustomize Forums

It seems to me that it's kinda silly devoting an entire section to logons for vista. Here's why: in order to make a vista logon one simply opens logonstudio vista, find a wallpaper you like, hit "apply" BINGO, ya got a vista logon! Kinda fun, but no real skill involved in the process.... This is not to slam stardock at all - logonstudio vista is great, but it seems to me you could combine the section "Wallpapers" and "LogonStudio Vista" into one! Am I off the wall or do I have a point?

Sounds promising! I've tried not to touch the "per pixel" items as I really don't understand what they are as opposed to "glyph image" and such. As far as I can see though, these don't have a "per pixel" attribute

Sounds about right! As I understand it, as long as all the images are lined up (x y values the same) it should work. They do work, actually..... they're just invisible! I can click on the correct area ( where the button should be) and it does what it should, just can't see the little buggers!

SkinStudio....Those Damn buttons! in Skinning WinCustomize Forums

I've been doing logons for a while now and have started on a window blind. Now I've run into my first major problem: In the section "active window" "inactive window" I've replaced the images for "close window" "minimize" "tile" etc. with custom buttons of my own, but when I apply the skin, the G.D. buttons aren't visible! They aren't checked as transparent and I haven't changed the visibility values, so in my mind they should act just like the default xp buttons! Does anybody know what I'm doing

I would also like to use logonstudio. i dont want to mess with my system files. logonstudio doesn't do anything to system files. It's really just a mask... doesn't replace anything. Don't be afraid to try - if you make a logon that doesn't work, you can use ctrl,alt,del and still be able to log in!

With logonstudio Vista, are you able to customize buttons, move account banner etc? If all you can do is change the wallpaper, what's the point? Especially if you have to pay for it! I'm looking to convert my XP logons to vista and most of them won't work with the account banner in the middle.
